"Maximal 3 is a true-peak brickwall limiter, soft clipper, and broadcast standard loudness meter
Maximal 3 is a loudness maximiser, designed to limit and maximise your track. Featuring both a true-peak brickwall limiter and a variable shape soft clipper, Maximal 3 can increase the overall loudness of your track, without destroying the sonic quality.
The limiter features true-peak lookahead detection, meaning inter-sample peaks will never overshoot and clip. With four different modes, and controls for attack and release, the shape of the limiter can achieve anything from transparent limiting with transient preservation, to warm bus gluing or pumping."
At launch, you pay just under 40 Euros, later the price is raised to the equivalent of 58 Euros. Those who already own version 2 will get a free update, according to the manufacturer.

Totally underrated Developer. Yet, dont know this Limiter or the predecessor. The Tilt - EQ and Phrasebox are both Goodies though.
You can be creative in any right place on Earth, and not only in the wealthiest cities. Bring the world feelings from everywhere, and not only feelings of capitalistic or jail environment.

I like Venomode plugins (even I don't own them). This one is really great, but it cost almost 10%CPU of my computer, so... not for me.

By the way, what are you doing with the left over 90%?

It's definitely worth it if you haven't already picked it up since your last comment. Pretty handy for filling out melodies if you throw some chords at it and pick/make a sparse pattern

Yep. Barricade is still better with much lover CPU. And "free".Vortifex wrote: Sat May 07, 2022 10:31 am Gave this a demo and it's actually pretty good IMO. I found the waveform display too distracting but that can disabled. Holds up well when pushed. True peak limiting goes 0.1 dB over the ceiling even at 16x oversampling but that can easily be dealt with. I don't understand why they chose to display attack in percentage terms instead of ms like the release, I would have much preferred to have ms for both.
Don't see a reason to replace Barricade 4 with this though.
