I updated my Live suite from ver. 11.0.1 to 11.1.x

Wasn’t a good idea: All my previously recorded sessions sounded like shit because the heavy digital peaks, the CPU showed constant peaks.

Obviously there was something wrong.
Have your experienced any problems with the ver. 11.1?

Other problem: I uninstalled the ver. 11.1 to re-install the old 11.01 ver - but after running the ver 11.1 uninstallation, the 11.01 installer doesn’t work.
The installer tries to uninstall in stead of installing.

Obviously threre are some leftover files preventing the installation.
I have tried all the ways to uninstall, borh with the Live uninstaller and with the Win 10 uninstaller, and after that manually delete the old files.

Any hint how to reset the system in these cases to take the new installation?

Update: The only way I managed to get over of this issue, was to re-install the Live 11.1.1.

This version uses computer CPU considerably more than the ver 11.0.1.

To avoid digital spikes, I had to increse the buffer size, unfortunately.

Very strange, Ableton.

didn't notice any change in performance in my case (user case). third party plugins? other workflow (of course, can be...).
