If I ever made and released modules, I'd call one of them Geometry and another one Physics.

Actually, there's probably some others in there. Calculus. Metalwork. Chemistry. Geography.

Probably not Home Economics, though.

Home ec was memorable for the overly desperate teacher (of co-Ed 14 year olds) who wore short skirts and plunging v-necks, pageant-like makeup/hair and too much perfume.
The other memorable part is learning how many had never made scrambled eggs before. This was a real part of our curriculum, how to cook eggs.

I wish we’d done home economics at my school.
Other than as a uni entry box tick I have never found a single practical use for my A-level in ‘proper’ Economics.

My home ec class: actual stoves and actual sewing needles are too dangerous. Here's how to use a microwave.

Shop class: there's the circular saw, if you cut off a finger the bandages are in that locked cabinet. Have fun kids, I'm off for a smoke break for the next forty minutes.

Health class: by law we have to warn you about sexually transmitted diseases but we can't tell you what sex is. Also if you ever look at a joint you're going to be addicted to heroin forever.

Our school started sex-ed in 5th grade... I'll never forget my teacher starting off the lesson with "sex feels good, but it doesn't always smell good."
