I have all the Arturia software and hardly use any of their VA instruments anymore as I tend to reach for Uhe or TAL first. If they charge me more than $99 to update I’ll wait for a better deal or the next collection.

its common sense that Arturia would improve, not go backwards. Regarding arrogance, I could literally post whatever nonsense I want on KVR and it wouldn't matter. KVR has the most Butt Hurt people on any site besides twitter. People take things the wrong way on here and curl up into a ball nibbling at their pillowLoveEnigma18 wrote: Mon May 09, 2022 4:41 pmSeemed rather arrogance.vertibration wrote: Mon May 09, 2022 4:16 pmcommon senseExamigan wrote: Mon May 09, 2022 3:28 pmNice!vertibration wrote: Mon May 09, 2022 12:29 pm You all will be very impressed with the Prophet V and VS, as well as CS-80.![]()

No offence intended, it just seemed you could have simply said yes to his question about beta tester, which was more of a confirmation seeking question than assumption on their part. Of course, everyone's excited about the new updated instruments from Arturia, even those who don't regard them highly.vertibration wrote: Mon May 09, 2022 4:56 pmits common sense that Arturia would improve, not go backwards. No intention to argue. Cheers!

I personally don't hear the issues with Arturia stuff, it sounds great on good quality DA Converters and good monitors. I would argue in some cases it sounds better than some of my hardware at times. They've got better an better over time, and I love the idea, that they continue to improve their emulations, and not just leave it as is.
That shows the heart of their character and passion for sound. Some of these Vintage synths are so rare and expensive that the idea they are willing to keep perfecting them, should be enough to support a legit company like Arturia!

Let's face it, we should be pleased that Arturia are willing to keep up to date, revisit & improve upon their older products. Something NI should take a lesson from. I'm looking forward to the new versions

Software development at Arturia is crazy fast. They are consistently putting out great updates and new instruments since at least last few years. Definitely an inspiration for other software companies. While I am not sure if I need the full V Collection and Analog Lab V is mostly sufficient for me, I can't appreciate their work and generosity enough.

Certainly. I have much respect for how Arturia have run their business and updated older products continuously to new standards, new UIs, VST3 etc., rather than simply put out preset packs.ians wrote: Mon May 09, 2022 5:22 pm Let's face it, we should be pleased that Arturia are willing to keep up to date, revisit & improve upon their older products. And that too while actually putting out decent preset packs 2 or 3 times a year. So, that's even better. Not to mention a big preset pack they have started to include with V Collection release at launch since the release of V7.Echoes in the Attic wrote: Mon May 09, 2022 5:44 pmCertainly. Their controllers seem kind of "run of the mill" to me, very "me too" type of products, but they're doing innovative stuff with hardware synthesis.

Arturia has over 140 employees, various departments handling different tasks. They have a very smooth operation. There is a lot of passion love and commitment for what they do. They listen to customers, and implement features that are needed. Not very many companies of their size are able to be so nimble.

i disagree. the beatstep pro and key step pro etc are innovative and were first (?) to do that kind of thing and integrate sequencing with cv/gate and midi in a very accessible way. they've been out for a while but keep getting improved upon. as for the other midi controllers i have no experience w/them but seems like they're consistent w/what's happening in that market.Funkybot's Evil Twin wrote: Mon May 09, 2022 5:55 pm

i've met the reps in my area and like them. found them knowledgable and to be nice people etc. they're making stuff they believe in and are passionate about. seemed to me that everyone is 'on board' w/what the company is going.
