Maybe a little early with 9 only being released tomorrow, but we know what’s in it now. Might as well get the thread started.
Presumably more in the Augmented series to follow and updates to the Mini V, Modular V and maybe the Solina. How old is the ARP2600 V?

Some damn drum synths!
...and Wurlitzer v2, an Arp2600 update, Moog Modular update.

As far as I see there's nothing exciting in it.
I skip V9, V10 and V11.
Perhaps Vdozen brings something thrilling...

Do a Korg, and virtualize one of their own hardware synths.
There are two kinds of people in the world. And you're not one of them.

It will definitely be the ARP 2600 refresh next. I thought it might be in V9, however I guess CS-80 and the Prophets were even more in need.

I think so too (ARP 2600). The Matrix-12 also needs a rebuild.Echoes in the Attic wrote: Mon May 09, 2022 9:25 pm It will definitely be the ARP 2600 refresh next. I thought it might be in V9, however I guess CS-80 and the Prophets were even more in need.
I'm wondering what they plan to do with Mini V, as there are several really good Minimoog emulations now. Do they update it anyway, just to bring up the overall quality of the collection? I guess they have to, but it's gotta be hard to get excited about doing that when the best you can do (probably) is just match The Legend or Model 72. I think they'd rather put time into the ones that nobody else has done (well).

I also wish for a rewritten 2600 and maybe the Wurli.
For new stuff, once again I'm hoping for the Polivoks.
And I've also been weirdly attracted to idea of a JX-3P.
I couldn't care less for the newly introduced Augmented STRINGS and Augmented VOICES, but I wouldn't mind checking out Augmented FARTS.

Anyone know if Analog Lab will get updated to include the new instruments?

I'd be surprised if it didn't.chili beans wrote: Mon May 09, 2022 10:13 pm Anyone know if Analog Lab will get updated to include the new instruments?
