Joking aside, $150 regular price for a sound shitizer is quite a bit steep.
But the market seems to be there, as there are competing products from other developers that are not so far off price wise.
Haven't demoed it (and probably never will), but i think i still have some shitty sounding plugins around to make my stuff sound crappy enough

Having used LO-FI-AF for more than two weeks now and I really love it!
The lo-fi color palette is great and combined with the internal convolution and spectral shaping engine it sounds amazing.
But as it has been posted before, The unique UA modulation structure is desperately missing.

LFAF seems like a cut down version of speakerphone in many ways. The telecom module stuff is rare in these plugins and then having a fully rearrangeable signal path is nice. It would have been cool if they had used a setup closer to byome where you can add as much as your CPU will tolerate. Seems like a good price (xln rc-20 and Thenatan's lofi machine are about the same on sale). I've got piles of sound degraders and I use them quite a bit so I'm sure I'll grab this one at some point.

Yeah it really is a bit special isn't it. I tend not to use the CD Skip like option much, but its nice to have it there all the same. I only wish there were more IR models, like a handful of guitar cabs for example.

A little off topic, but Waves also had an interesting product drop over the weekend with RetroFi and Lofi Space. Not sure why the inconsistent naming though, thats a really puzzling move. Still, initial impressions of these two are pretty good at the moment. Could have done with some more Device options, but plenty of Noise profiles tom choose from.

^ I wish I had saw this a week ago, I just got it for $49 which is still a great price for an amazing plugin. The amount of dirt and degradation it can do can't be found anywhere else.

it does come with presets
(that's mac os mojave here...)

around 35 in

Yeah it has some presets but not a ton. If you're not seeing them try re-installing and make sure to check "Documentation" on the installed otherwise it doesn't install the presets.

I decided to go "Out-of the-Box" for the desired LoFi sound.
