I wonder what's the upgrade/crossgrade price for those who only have SQ80 V and don't have any V Collection.

As an owner of Prophet V3 i can upgrade to Prophet-5 V4 for €49 or to Prophet VS V4 for €49.
I don't really care for the VS, but is the Prophet 5-V4 that good in comparison to V3?

OB-Xa seems to have been renamed "OP-Xa" in the Software Center for me, how strange. New CS-80 and Prophet-5 plugins seem great so far.

199 for me, I'll wait until the upgrade price drops next year. Nothing there I am desperate for. (unless the augmented Voices is awesome

I initially couldn't download any of the new products. I manually updated to the latest Software Centre and was able to install them. I've subsequently closed and reopened the Software Centre and now there are updates for all products. I'm just trying Augmented Strings again...jdoo wrote: Tue May 10, 2022 1:25 pm Feels like the site is 1/2 updated currently, with some pages saying VC9, but the text still has VC8 stuff on em. ASC hasnt been updated for me, just yet. I see the $149 upgrade, and also $49 upgrades for the individually (big) updated instruments (CS-80V, Prophet V, Piano V). Hope to see those prices drop to what the Jup-8 V4 upgrade was ($29). One can hope.![]()

There's a new Oberheim OB-X8 [hardware synth] coming out and from what I recently read, Tom Oberheim was recently granted the Trademark to the OB-X, OB-Xa, etc. So, very likely that had something to do with it. That one was not officially licensed by Tom.reverbmachine wrote: Tue May 10, 2022 1:39 pm OB-Xa seems to have been renamed "OP-Xa" in the Software Center for me, how strange. $149 for me, but I have V Collection 8 and SQ-80 V. Seems worth it to me if the rebuilds are as good as the rebuild they did of Jupiter 8. I’ve been hoping for a good CS-80 emulation for a long time. I’ll try to check the demos and report back.

They’re super disorganized. The website is still showing v8 info, even though the banner is showing v9. I’m sure it’ll all get sorted.andrew71 wrote: Tue May 10, 2022 1:46 pmI initially couldn't download any of the new products. There's an update for Augmented STRINGS Intro for existing users in the ASC. (And a duplicate entry named Augmented STRINGS that seems to be a mistake, as it just downloads Intro by the looks of things). Note - CPU improvements. And a new tagging system.
New features:
New preset tagging system (right click to open tag menu)
New Preset browser, toolbars and menus design
New sound bank view
New instruments icons
Improvements:
CPU consumption improvements
Project opening time improvements
Preset loading time improvements
Preset store performance improvements
Enhanced preset drag & drop to playlists
Moved user preset category in Explore
Playlist menu improvements
Playlists can now be edited simultaneously on plugin instances
Preset info menu improvements
Improved home page pop-up behavior
Edits made in playlists are now automatically saved
Added multiple preset selection count

Sadly CPU still fairly crippling here on big chords.
The right click tagging is just an option to favouite with 8 colours.

It's amazing how bad they are managing release day. The servers are already slammed. Toontrack gets this right and also has huge content.
Maybe if Arturia's GUI's didn't need a few GB's worth of data, they could better manage this. Just saying...
I like Arturia, but the giant resource usage and inability to manage their CDN seem like two huge blind spots for them.

It's available on the downloads page (not ASC at the moment). More of a Synth with voice elements mostly vowels. Excellent Pad machine though but it also comes with lead and bass presets among others. 1 GB download.rollasoc wrote: Tue May 10, 2022 1:42 pm 199 for me, I'll wait until the upgrade price drops next year. Everything seems live now on the site. Downloading here on the ASC - speed ok but it keeps pausing itself mid-install.
Looks like the whole range has had its update, with the right click colour tabs and refreshed browser / menu design.
Just installing the update to Analog Lab now.
