SonicLab Starwaves, available on the App Store as a universal app (with a single purchase you obtain the iPad and the MacOS app), it's M1 native.
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/starwaves ... 73918?uo=2
Note that this is a standalone app, but you can record your performances or use Rogue Amoeba Loopback to route the audio directly to your DAW. Also, there is an IAP for obtaining MIDI/OSC control support.
Purchased this today, and I'm enjoying a lot.
Regarding the other SonicLab plugins sold in his web, it will be cool if someone can confirm if these are M1 native, specially the more recent ones, Fundamental 2 and Thermo. The pack including these two synths is really tempting. There are demos, so it's a matter of installing this with an alternate iLock account. Personally, I don't like to fill my main iLok account with demo licenses.

The thing is if compatible with M1 refers to a native ARM version, or simply that it can run under Rosetta.

Probably only the "recompiled" ones are native.Pinku Eiga wrote: Wed May 11, 2022 5:06 pm The thing is if compatible with M1 refers to a native ARM version, or simply that it can run under Rosetta.

Lucky you. I still haven't been able to use the FXpansion software I paid for 2 years ago on my computers.machinesworking wrote: Thu Apr 14, 2022 8:12 pm?? Strobe has been Arm native for quite some time. It was on the original list on this site. Tested and working here for months.![]()
I submitted a ticket to Roli "support" on April 14 for my fxpansion strobe2 and cypber2 not authorizing. Didn't receive an email back until May 11 and all they did was tell me to de-authorize and try again (their month-tardy details were literally in the screenshot I sent them in my ticket). Naturally that didn't work on May 11th, just like it didn't work on April 14.
Not an acceptable means of support. At this point I want my money back for these products. They will not authorize on my computers, and your "support" is neither timely, nor effective. It's shameful, really.
If there's anything this Apple Silicon transition has taught me, it's which companies to stop supporting forever.

Exactly what I was thinking. That company will never get another dime from me. It'll be 2028 before 2/3's of their stuff goes native. Shoutout to you, FabFilter.adamjay wrote: Thu May 12, 2022 12:44 am I'm kinda amazed that NI updated Massive X, and yet it still requires Rosetta 2.

Installed only Kontakt on my new Mac Studio, not of the other stuf from Komplete. And I havent missed any of it in the last few weeks. So guess I can live perfectly fine without the rest of Kompolete now.JonathanLevine wrote: Thu May 12, 2022 4:48 amExactly what I was thinking. That company will never get another dime from me. Even Kontakt isn't plain sailing on my new Mac Studio. Only the VST3 is M1 native it seems. It's been suggested elsewhere that there was a bug with the VST2 version & now it will never be updated due to Steinberg not supporting it any more. Can't get some of my hosts to recognise the VST2 unless the host is opened in Rosetta mode.eagle007 wrote: Thu May 12, 2022 2:11 pmInstalled only Kontakt on my new Mac Studio, not of the other stuf from Komplete. A ton of old projects that won't load due to the VST2 version not being recognised?jamcat wrote: Thu May 12, 2022 4:20 pm Why the hell would you use VST2 when you have a VST3 version?
Superstition?
To date, they've managed to update one product to Native Silicon & they couldn't even do that properly. They've pretty much been reduced to making sound content for their ageing software that's years behind the curve
