Unfiltered Audio LO-FI-AF released

quick question: I regularly use RC-20 and also sometimes use Lifeline Expanse and Waves Retro Fi.
So i never tried out LO-FI-AF. Does it bring something to the table? Just asking to be prepared for the next PA sale, thx

Does this really not come with any presets? "Factory presets" are grayed out....

Yeah it has some presets but not a ton. If you're not seeing them try re-installing and make sure to check "Documentation" on the installed otherwise it doesn't install the presets.

That didn't work, so I contacted support.

"This is a known issue that we have reported to our developers for further investigation. A possible workaround is to install the previous version to get the presets, then update to the current version. Both versions can be found at the bottom of each products page."

That worked for me. They should really add it to the support FAQ until it's fixed... and I wish they'd included the links in the email instead of making me search the product page for them. Oh well.

It does put its own unique spin on lofi. While there are overlaps with these plugins, there are also aspects that make them unique. You just have to ask yourself whether you'd use those unique aspects in Lo-Fi-Af. Perhaps check out a few demos or download the trial?!?

thx dude, your info saved me some time. worked for me too.
although i have to say that this plugin may be the first one i wouldnt have bothered to play with no presets, cos the random fucntion alone was producing good basics for own presets as a starting point.

funny little tool, sounds great on unfiltered audios lion synth pads too
