Anybody else having problems with massive x and sustain pedal?
Here it looks like a note on - off problem when a note is repeated in the same pedal.
For instance.
Press sustain pedal
Play C4 E4 G4 C4
(keep finger on last C4)
release pedal but keep finger on C4
The C4 should keep sounding but does stop with the pedal release.
Maybe a note on note off that is not remembered when the same note is repeated in the pedal?

I sold my Massive X and so longer own it. And while I don't remember if it did it exactly, I have had that problem with certain versions of other synths. Currently all corrected by the next version update. For me, it's always been about the the pedal itself being a half-damper continuous pedal. Most do their testing using the standard momentary pedal and I do have to contact support every time a new version presents this problem.

Not sure which type of pedal you use or if that has anything to do with your specific problem. But definitely contact support as it's not otherwise on their list of majority users generally.

Am I really the only one with hold pedal problems with massive x?
It happens on two computers.

Test:
Push hold (sustain pedal)
Play c4 (and release c4)
Play e4 (and release e4)
Play c4 and hold c4
Release hold pedal but keep holding c4

c4 should keep sounding but does stop here when I release the pedal.

You're not the only one, I can confirm the issue. I think it was reported some time back, so MX team should be aware of it.

Yes I reported it also but they just released a new 1.4 version with this problem still present.

Yes, because there were issues with higher priority that needed a lot of development time to resolve.

Many people today don't even know what a sustain pedal is - true story.

I'm stupefied.
The only thing with higher priority I can think of is note on note off.

But probably a lot of users don't even use a keyboard.

Yep you can definitely speak from your perspective, but you cannot assess all the different personas across the whole NI userbase (which is millions of people).

I've run into sustain pedal issues across several different VSTs. I've concluded most people must not use them and the developers may also figure you can edit the track to clean it up.

Since I play live, it's really a shame. Having hanging notes or notes abruptly cutting out won't work for me.
