I'd trust Roland to make a decent drum machine, so the T8 looks fairly interesting. The others not so much. Roland seem to have been releasing quite a few small units recently, and competing on price (which is not normally a Roland thing). I might have to keep an eye on them a bit more.

Pity so many analogue filters are shite. Seriously, what's so good about any of the three filters in an ARP Odyssey? And don't get me started on f**king ladder filters.

I'm pretty surprised the T-8 and E-4 haven't garnered more interest here. The T-8 has a lot of hands-on control and a really nice selection of sounds, while the E-4 offers vocoding and looping that are a bit of a pain to do with plugins.

The lack of interest in the J-6 I can understand. I don't see the point of digital hardware with so few few controls, better off using plugins or spending a little extra on the JU-06 in that case.
