Cubase 10.5 put a ghost in my machine! HELP

So I'm having this issue where if I have my tempo set at any particular bpm the bpm will all of a sudden just go to some other bpm quite randomly after a few minutes/many minutes/some random period of time. Usually in loop mode.

Also, when working on a project, all of a sudden it is like everything I've been working on has disappeared, but it's the program going to some earlier point in edit history. I then go to redo a bunch of times, or go into the edit history and go back to where I was.

I've used many versions of Cubase and never had this bug until 10 or 10.5.

Cubase 11 isn't an option atm as I don't have windows 10 yet.

This is dang frustrating. Please give me a solution.
