heh, my sport modulator 2 is still inside it's unopened box.

*TBF: I've no where to put it, I have all the mats for 2x 168 hp cases, but I'm lazy to make them.
I made a small pedal board recently, but that's about all the attention I can manage lately in the
area of crafting. :dog:

But yeah, dual slew modules are useful for so much! Recently I got a Sport Modulator 2 and still figuring out things that can do; it's based on the SSG so kinda the "other" dual function generator family...
I'm really loving my Sport Modulator 2, this track used it and a Dual Digital Shift Register as the core for modulation, timing/sequencing: https://soundcloud.com/justin3am/twirly

I have 3 SSGs in my Serge system and I use most/all of them in almost every patch. They get really close to LPG territory when using the smooth section as a filter/VCA.

Hmm, I liked the Landscape Noon passive drum machine presentation from superbooth a lot. Weird and interesting, I will probably buy one when they are not sold out.

The inside of the Soup Kitchen is just amazingly beautiful to me.

They'll need some replacement pots, capacitors and some TLC but they are working. I'm not usually into vintage stuff but I'm really stoked about this stuff. :hyper:

^^^ Whoa... Cool for YOU! {back panels are elegant, indeed.} ^^^
I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil

Not familiar with the original Surge stuff only seen the eurorack clones, are they rackable in a 19” rack?

Thanks all! The panels tested out and all of the modules are "working" but definitely need some help. I can't wait to start recording with this stuff in earnest.

Yes, I have them all mounted with rack ears. Here is the system to which those panels will be added:

There are two rows of banana-fied eurorack modules in the top-left, for comparison.

I find it tricky to work out what part of a West Coast circuit is doing, good luck with that little lot!

The new Meris pedal looks super nice: https://www.meris.us/product/lvx/?mc_ci ... e425d88f06

I’m gonna pass for now, but I wouldn’t mind adding it on later.

I had a Mercury 7 in my basket on so many sites, but never bit the bullet as I’ve been trying to stick to software effects. It is sexy stuff though.

There are some strange vids kicking about though Starsky Carr comparing a £30 Behringer reverb pedal with a £440 Empress was spectacularly pointless

From the noises he’s making about the Empress pedal I imagine a change of underwear was necessary after.

yeah that seems rather pointless.

although, don't know that model? but some of those behringers were great, not replacing an empress, but definitely not unusable, especially on a budget or playing a gig in liverpool. (just saying...)
