hi guys, this one is strange, thankfully!!! Reaktor shows me which Ensemble it is looking for,

but when i click LOCATE it immediately shows me the PRISM ensemble, but when i then wanna load it the following message pops up.

it says a newer version of Prism? but i got all in Native Access updated + the Project is maybe around 10 years old, so it was definitely not a new version.

It says a newer version of Reaktor.
If you don’t have Reaktor 6 it should open in the free Reaktor 6 Player.

thx but again, 10 years ago was no Reaktor 6 available

well you've updated prism, since then, to a newer version, saved in a newer version of reaktor.

But that version of the Prism that you're trying to open appears to have been saved (or resaved) with a newer version of Reaktor. Have you updated anything recently? It's possible the content got refreshed by Service Center and broke backwards compatibility or something.

thx guys, i dont understand why NI makes stuff so uncompatible... i need to check their Prism updates but i dont have these problems with many other vsts, NI seems pretty f*cked up really. now i need to check if i can get an old prism version?

well, no, eg i don't seem to have anywhere near the number of issues using the software as you, ive contacted support twice in 20 years or so one of them was about transferring an old licence to someone else.

so is it ni?

i got all my stuff installed and also my ensembles. other than the f**ked up Service Center crap from NI i got not so many problems anymore so far, i figured out a lot of problems with old plugins etc. but if a project loads Reaktor and asks for Prism and i got Prism and then givs me such a stupid error you cannot tell it is the users' fault. NI should make things compatible and not break projects with each update? e.g. Nexus2 works so far rock solid, u-he plugins mostly too and so many others. i never would have thought that NI would f**k up my projects like that and give the user infos how to solve these issues.

overall i need to check a solution, NI gets no money from me atm, cause they really are just unreliable i can tell for sure with all their versions. i just checked on google, seems there are some others with this issue, need to check if i can solve it somehow.

EDIT:
check Omnisphere, they update it all the time, i loaded 10 year old projects and it loads fully backwardscompatible. so far only about 3-4 patches sound different somehow. but thats it.

Sylenth1 so far too, splendid, and i can list a lot more

. i definitely understand if plugins cannot work 20 years on newer systems, but come on NI, if i got Reaktor, Prism etc. why the f*ck doesnt it load or get breakable without any obvious reason. or just name it Prism 2 or whatever. guess i need to contact them again, they never helped out though, they just were like BAD LUCK, what a great support LOL

well, for future use and assistance, save ensemble copy with project

not sure how to retrieve the current one you have an issue with, but at least you don't have to throw the baby out with the bathwater.

thx vurt, this is what im doing some weeks now :/ and also taking screenshots.
but yeah i try to still figure these things out and hopefully get them to work. i just need settings/presets etc.

i found something out, i have my Ensembles also saved from all the years in a seperate ENSEMBLE folder when prism etc. wasnt in komplete collection!

i located the old Prism Ensemble and then it loads BUT! then it says Continue, Buy or Activate, wtf? then it wants the service center to load which doesnt work.... why doesnt Reaktor load the new Prism ensemble which is activated in Native Access?
what a mess
