I put 2 songs in my music website: "All The Time" is the song on top, and "Play a Part 2" is the next song down. Please tell me how you like the music and how it can be improved, and I will return the favor. Here is my link:

Time of the month I always look forward to.
All The Time - Love the drums on this one. Whenever I try to do beats like that they kind of fall flat but you pulled this off flawlessly. Song itself really rocks. Personally, I'd have liked a touch more reverb on the vocal but that's just a minor nitpick. Also, I think the song itself is too short given the amount of instrumental to vocal balance. Another minute and a half would have been just perfect.
Play A Part 2 - This is kind of a dreamy one. Nice contrast to the other tune. I have to admit that the tremolo guitar really bothered my ears listening with headphones and I had to take them off. My ears are really sensitive to that kind of stuff and it screws up my equilibrium. Only nitpick other than that is the song is way too short. Needs more time to develop. I could have listened to another 2 minutes easily.

wagtunes,
Thank you for listening and replying, I appreciate it! Perhaps my unusual (or maybe not unusual) thing is sometimes a certain amount of chorus effect will sound good to my ears, but it gives my stomach a queasy feeling; not implying you have that on your songs.

Hi Aaron,
I am biased to guitar, and your guitar recording is so good, on All The Time.
I like that the vocals is really up front and center.
It may be a bit too hot, in the mix, and could be lowered just a tad.
The bass is very cool.
I like the beat, very hip and alive!!!
Good to hear from you!!!

All the time:
Really like the drum groove - did you play it by your own? Or how it is done?
At around 2:10 it feels a bit like the voice is a bit too much upfront (at least for my ears).
Star for me are the synths togehter with the fantastic drums - i would like to recommend a synth/drums only track
Play a part 2:
Mixing wise this track is stronger for me. Everything sits well and is clearly audible. Only the guitar bleeps coming in at 0:28 could be (for my personal taste) a bit quieter. But overall a really nice listen (all in all my favourite of the two tracks). Everything feels warm and round.
(if you want to listen to one of mine i would like to recommend this one: viewtopic.php?t=580737 - not the last... i think you would not like it )

it is better to have a track with some mistakes than a track without any soul

Rene and tomtom1,
Thank you for listening and checking out my music, I appreciate it! "All The Time" drums: toontrack Big Rock Drums EZX playing within Superior Drummer 2 with u-he Presswerk compression and Softube Harmonics distortion. The drum patterns came primarily from a separate toontrack Soul Grooves MIDI drum pack (played by a real session drummer to create various MIDI grooves that I pieced together). I typically add various things here and there: mostly drum fill stuff.

"All The Time" - great flowing beat and gtr groove! Loads of driving energy.
Great vocal lead melody, but felt that it could've been a little bit richer in sound quality?
"Play a Part 2" - Nice drop in mood! Much more chilled...the 'mangled' vibe to the vocals worked very well on this one - blended very well with the backing instruments.
NOTE: did you know there was a lot of silence at the end?

ChameleonMusic,
Thank you for listening to both songs, and leaving comments, I appreciate it! I hear about 8 seconds of silence at the end of "Play A Part"; perhaps a bit long.

"All the time": Stormy start with drums and guitar!
I like it first of all.
Then the vocals kick in - heavily processed but well
mixed up front. It reminds me a bit of "The Cure" -
the vocals are a bit lascivious and very emotional.
The synth solo is followed by a guitar solo - all excited,
fast and dirty.
Overall: Very coherent - dirty, direct, absorbing the
listener. I like it wonderfully, a great song, a gorgeous
experience!
