Kilohearts has announced a significant free update to the entire Kilohearts Ecosystem of plugins with the release of Kilohearts v2.

The Kilohearts v2 update is focused mainly on modulation with the introduction of new modulators and the incorporation of the Phase Plant modulation system to Multipass and Snap Heap, dramatically increasing the possibilities for dynamic modular effects creation.

In addition, there are a number of improvements to the functionality, GUI, and optimisation of Phase Plant, Multipass and Snap Heap. These include MPE support, improved visualisation of modulation connections, external automation for any parameter, modulator/effects groups, and much more.

To help users discover the myriad new possibilities for audio processing and sound design that have been opened up by this update there is also lots of new factory content to explore.

These "included" effects are free now for all (30 of them at least, not Faturator, Disperser, Convolver, Carve and Slice EQ) and there is only one version of Phaseplant.
Also the formerly free SnapHeap now will cost $29 after this "v2 Upgrade" sale.

All KiloHearts plugins have been Apple Silicon native since 1.8.26.

Is kHs One being discontinued? It was updated to 2.0 for existing customers, but is nowhere to be found on the website.

I'm a bit disappointed that the additional filter types have still not been added to the generator section. It sucks to have to use up an FX lane for each generator with which you want to use the other filters polyphonically.

is there a way to install without overriding the current version, just adding the new version as a seperate install? i dont want to risk messing up hundreds of projects so i wouldnt install unless you can do this (even though i love the look of the update)

That a really big deal and I am surprised KH are not shouting this from the roof top- the thing that put people of PP what having to buy the effects as 'extras' now they are included and its $99! Utter no brainer if you don't own it!

They're actually now free for everyone, PhasePlant or not. You can use them as direct DAW plugins. If people hurry, they can get still SnapHeap for free until June 17th, and use them there also.
