About Silver

Silver is a suite of Acqua plug-ins consisting of three FREE players available in the following formats: VST2, VST3, AAX, and AU and dedicated to emulating reverbs of physical spaces and sampled equipment.

An amazing project that has taken a long time to design and develop and has paid off considerably given the incredible results obtained; in fact, we have finally given birth to a new generation of cutting-edge reverb plug-ins.

NOTE: In addition to the intrinsic characteristics of the reverbs, thanks to Acustica's technology, you can also appreciate the harmonic distortion component of the units in these emulations.

Silver Volume J - PART 1

Volume J faithfully emulates the renowned reverb processor from a well-known Danish audio hardware company. This will be a three-part volume due to the large number of presets in the hardware.

Since its first appearance on the market in 1999, it has been a benchmark for the professional audio sector, heard on countless hit records, conquering recording studios all over the world, and rightly becoming one of the most appreciated reverb units for mixing, music/film post-production, broadcast and mastering applications in surround environments.
So, whilst aimed at industry professionals, it also winks at simple enthusiasts and the curious.

With this reverb, the time spent trying to achieve convincing results during mix can be cut dramatically, it can become your secret weapon if you give it a chance!

It's a very good reverb, as are most of the alphabetical letter volume collections (and particularly volume A) of Silver.

But we are spoilt for choice now with excellent reverbs (Liquidsonics, Relab Development and Reverb Foundry, for example, are among those creating amazing software reverbs), so it's a stretch to assume that this will automatically be someone's "number one reverb" - and even more so as most producers use different reverbs for different tasks / song tastes.

Still, a good effort nonetheless by Acustica regardless of the cheap marketing hype.
