I do agree a V2 Tag would be helpful though, but they are very open to feedback and I am sure they've read this thread, so maybe a little update in the future could add the tag.

You have to download a custom installer every time you update from your account at the KH web site.

I only see a standard Installer (which claims to be 2.0.0) on my KH Profile page, right below all my Licences: Plugins/Content Banks/Subscriptions - Order history: etc... sections.

Is there a different installer I'm not seeing somewhere?

have people's old projects with phase plant worked fine with the update? even ones where the preset hasnt been saved in phase plant? i mostly use bitwig but have never had a problem with pp, i read from kiloherts there are some minor differences in sound

i think i heard that theyre going to add stuff later to it, might have heard granular

Brilliant stuff, brilliant update! A long time coming, a lot of work, but sooo worth it!! I also made nearly 200 factory presets for Snap Heap, and Multi-pass. Check them out!!

The new factory presets definitely add a lot to the Snapheap/multipass KHS ecosystem and really show off what the new modulation and newish snap ins can do.

Though its perplexing to see that there are almost no new presets to demo the newer snapins / new features of PhasePlant 2? It would be great to see Arturia regulars like yourself let loose to see how far this new version can go.

i updated and the additions are really nice, mpe is big for me as i use mpe from bitwig's grid with pitch ratios/harmonic series for making additive synths by sending the notes to poly oscillators, i like how it sounds doing this with phase plant, you could probably send the mpe from other modulars if you dont use bitwig

the update went fine and to make sure you dont lose projects you can write down the version number you currently have installed, and then you can 'update' back to it after updating to 2.0 if you need to, as long as you haven't saved the project since updating then you should be able to revert back

It doesn't matter which installer you are using, it's just a small app to connect to your account. Just make sure that you're system is online. The installer connects, sees what updates you are missing, you run the installer, done.

Easiest installer ever.
