I had tried that initially on the forum in one of my threads but didn't;t get any takers but thank you for this. I got a couple responses yesterday to my thread there, just have to figure out how to do what they have suggested. Today, I will first try what one member here has suggested to see if it will work.
Thanks for the link though, I can't afford as much as $50 for this right now due to financial constraints but glad to have that option as a last resort "if" that guy will be able to do it. I had inquired of a music producer on Fiverr who is experienced with reaper as his main DAW. He said "That's why it makes no sound. If you don't have the license, the plugin is automatically muted. I recommend you use another free plugin that does the same". That makes no sense to me the demo works fine on my other pc just in a normal or simple setup.

The best help for Reaper is Kenny Gioia at Kennymania.
http://www.kennymania.com/reaper-videos/
And of course the Reaper forums can be very helpful.

I had sent an inquiry to reaperblog earlier today and have been getting some responses on the forum now:
https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php ... ost2560562
but not sure about what I seeing there since I do not wish to have to modify my existing setup, I just want the Instalooper to work with my current setup is all.
I will look into kennymania too, thx.
p.s. I had also messaged two guys on there willing to pay them something if they can figure this out but no response so far.

Guys, to update, I tried everything possible, emailed both Kenny and reaperblog with no response from either of them, tried the guys suggestions and methods on the forum but could not get Instalooper to work with my project so that's that. So I am going back to Hardware option discussed in my previous thread and searching and searching the net for this found the answer I think:
https://djtechtools.com/2014/04/27/inte ... -dj-setup/
According to what I am seeing in this video, as was mentioned earlier in this thread I can use a "pedal" directly connected to my mixer without needing any external interface. Also, this gives me to the option to make it wireless. or get just one long cable. I can now look for either a looper pedal or/and a freeze/glitch pedal.
If I can get a battery operated pedal with the features mentioned this would be great because then I get the CME WIDI and make it totally wireless. Closing in now

Hey guys, do you think this might do it please? It's extremely difficult for me to find a battery operated pedal for delay/looping but this one can run on a 9v battery:

Well, if it does, I wouldnae buy that one from reverb, they're half that new.

i have an earlier (mk2 iirc?) kaoss pad somewhere here (in the middle of sorting, for ten years ...) very capable even back then!
i know whyterabbyt had the kp4, which was leaps ahead, so id imagine they have only got better.
some great fx onboard and the touch screen is great for real time tweaking.

pretty sure kp4 had onboard recording for loops? was a long time ago i used whyterabbyts for a bit.
but they all have delay fx which can do the echo, will be held depending on contact on the touch screen, so looping of a sort.

did the kp4 have on the fly looping?

Ive only got the KP3 and the original miniKP, but the KP3 has a handful of loop effects, as well as sampling and playing back via each pad as looped or one-shot.vurt wrote: Thu Jun 02, 2022 1:37 pmcasts summon whyterabbyt spell.whyterabbyt wrote: Thu May 26, 2022 1:36 pm Well, if it does, I wouldnae buy that one from reverb, they're half that new.

The miniKP has pretty much the same set of loop effects, but no sampling.
The KP4/quad seems to have a looper, but its one of the options for the first in a chain of 4 effects in series, and I dont think it has pad-based sampling either.
