The "audio optimized" thing is beef crap, imho. Data is data, representing whatever, being it audio or pron pics, irrelevant.

Have to agree. Audio optimised is pure marketing like wooden hifi knobs or having midi cables knitted out of Kardashian pubic hair. Having said that- the price seems OK so they're not trying to rip anyone off...though that might be my NZ eyes looking, because here we pay through the nose for everything electronic - I bought a USB A->B cable recently and paid something like NZ$30 for it - and had to search high and low to find one. Possibly over there that is a high price for such a cable. But don't be fooled by it being "audio optimised". Yeah USB might be used for music but it's transmitting data not audio.

Audio over USB is the same 1's and 0's as any other piece of data coming across. Why would audio need anything special to transmit those same digital bits across?

This is pure, unadulterated bullshit, like big box stores charging $50 for an HDMI cable when a $10 one will do exactly the same job. Just do a search on eBay or Amazon for some nice, braided cables. You'll get them for half the price of these and they'll probably last longer.

Marketing bs, don’t fall for it. Digital connections are pure 1 and 0. Either they work or they don’t work at all.
