Anyway at the time of this post we're at 24 free, 71 more participants to the next freebie with a bit under 11 days left to go if the GB is not extended again.

It might not hit 3000 by the end of the month but I think we might at least see three perhaps four more freebies, again if it's not extended.

Ahainsworth1 has no connection to IK other than being a customer (and I only know that from the above post).

All IK representatives on any forum must put their affiliation in their username and anywhere else possible to make clear they are officially affiliated with IK Multimedia. That's actually a stipulation I made upon being hired 12+ years ago, and we've never veered from that.

As far as I can tell I nor anybody else at IK (and anybody who would, would be a direct report of mine) has ever even spoken/typed to Ahainsworth1.

And yes, it is slowing down so please share and let's pick up the pace as this isn't likely going to be extended unless it hits the top tier.

IK would be among the least likely, actually. Especially on KVR.......
IK reps always identify themselves on forums, and IK tends towards very high profile non-employee endorsers, like Slash and Brian May, and now Joe Chiccarelli, not random noobs on a forum. Plus IK is so cheap they'd only be willing to pay shills in Jam Points.

for the record...great group buy, jampoints and all, you get alot of great product, easy to install, very good sounding synths, what is there not to like?

There's 21 pages here and 13 in the other thread, so forgive me if this has already been covered...

Q1 : But how do I get the presets for the Syntronik2 synths to show up in SampleTank4?

Q2 : And why would some of those Syntronik2 synths be showing up there twice, with a couple of them showing as 'locked' the second time they show up?

Im only pointing it at ST3, ST4, Syntronik, Syntronik2 and SampleTron2 folders, so it doesnt make sense.

Q3: Also; Ive seen some of the posts indicating you seem to have to reinstall Syntronik1 content to get more than a tiny handful Syntronik2 compatible presets for those synths. Is that correct? What do you do if you cant download those installers any more?

Im finding ST4 to be a bit of a mess regarding older content anyway. Im pretty much having to keep ST3 installed because I cant get anything to properly show up in 'ST3 Imports' within ST4, while ST3 has its own 'Imported Instruments' folder for ST2 content. Seriously, how difficult would it be manage this properly in the ST4 instrument browser?
What bothers me is that by now, I cant tell if there's older imported content thats actually missing, just because of how convoluted it all is.

No, wait. I thought if I went through the individual standalones and got them to rescan libraries it would tidy things up a wee bit. But no, since yesterday, Syntronik2 now no longer sees any of the Syntronik2 content. WTF?

Okay, so that's 'resolved'. All I had to do was reinstall one of the Syntronik 2 libraries. Only my third round of reinstalls of this stuff since yesterday, so that's perfectly normal, right?

Y'know once upon a time it was enough just to back up the installed ST content folders, and that would be enough. Clearly not any more.

So now that Ive done that, I can rescan in ST4 again (for about the thirtieth time in 24 hours) aaaand...

still no f**king Syntronik2 content there. Oh, but the second instance of that library I reinstalled now shows up as locked too. And 'ST3 Imported' is still empty. FFS.

^ I wish Syntronik 2 had this simple view. It's a pain and a bit clumsy, at least to me, to scroll through the instrument GUIs in the left pane.

Ahainsworth1 may just have been "spreading the word" so more people buy the product and we reach the 3000 goal. So here's mine, although, I'd prefer to compress my endorsement into one sentence...

If you are trying to find that "analog" sound in a vst synth, Syntronik 2 seems to be the best option.

I've tried downloading and installing,reinstalling Syner-V around 4 times now, I keep getting error messages when I try loading anything other than the patch ( A Jersey Suitcase ) eg: no other patches will load, the error message is " cannot locate Tank at path,

same thing in sampletank 4, it fails to load..

any idea's ?
