Hello, I am looking for help in developing a minimal VST plugin using JUCE and react-juce [1] for the GUI. To be clear: I'm paying. I would like to take over the project once it's done, so the delivarable must include some form of documentation/knowledge transfer as well as of course the code.

Essentially the plugin needs to have two modes, one to play back some audio files (downloaded from a REST API) and a second to record its input from the DAW and upload it to the same API via POST request. See the full job-spec [2] for a very detailed list of requirements and a wireframe mockup of the GUI.

Can I ask, is it Juce that renders the GUI, and the mechanism to create it is in JS?

This is the kind of thing that I'd expect the dev to clear to me. In other words: I don't know. I am basically asking for a specific type of tutorial in react-juce that I'm willing to pay for

If you are using react to get to the get and post commands in JUCE then you might want to look at HISE, as these are already available...and the UI build should be fairly easy - caveat emptor - I cant get you spec. document to open so I havent read it.

ah shoot, you mean the google drive link is not working? it's a zip file with two pdfs in it

The link seemed to be working fine at least for me earlier, but Google Drive doesn't seem to be willing to let you open PDFs from inside a ZIP file (it just shows the contents) so at least I just gave up.

Yeah that was my experience too...I took the risk and downloaded it.

I think HISE might not be a perfect candidate - given the recording of in bound audio specified... still it shouldn't be a hard add to the code base if a developer wanted to take advantage of all the other features that fit the spec.
