Intriguing GUI and workflow. I can’t tell if it’s brilliant or useless.

Didn’t know that…….is it for real or a supposition? Who are the “etc”?TIMT wrote: Fri May 27, 2022 1:55 pm Is this yet another company from the team behind Denise, Baby Audio, Soundspot etc?

It seems to be the same general layout as their Lifeline Expanse. One thing they get right as compared to other similar options (e.g. RC-20) is that the effect order can be changed by sliding the modules left or right. However, some combination of Console+Expanse gets you to the same feature set as RC-20. Now what would be interesting is if a customer who owned both Lifeline Expanse + Console could use the modules from one in the other.masterhiggins wrote: Fri May 27, 2022 2:47 pm Intriguing GUI and workflow. I got Expanse Lite as a freebie a few months ago and been meaning to install it. Perhaps this is the excuse I need. Anticipate before EOY there will be an opportunity to pickup Console Lite for free (or near free). I appreciate that they have a reasonably priced upgrade path from Lite to full version. I will also be curious if they run the upgrades on special ever.

Console Lite is similar-ish to RC-20 but it has a few more varying effects. They're mostly tweaked to specific sounds like the room type reverbs but some of the effects do sound unique. It's worth the download.kidslow wrote: Fri May 27, 2022 7:25 pmIt seems to be the same general layout as their Lifeline Expanse. This looks nice and rather well thought out, but frankly if I see a website where there is absolutely no information about the company itself, and missing information about e.g. copy protection or licensing conditions, I’ll pass…

Lifeline Console is on "sale" for 50% off for 1 PB Token. A token is worth 1.25 GBP. Right now they are selling console for $70 - so for 1 token, its $35. FYI. I picked up Expanse Lite as a PB freebie 09/2022 and then just now the "full" update for $20. Then I noticed I had a token and the Console deal. I am trying the demo. I really like this and Expanse.

I have been playing with it. I like it. I like the design and workflow and the sound is really nice. It's more subtle than I thought it would be. Although it can do some extreme things, like Expanse. I could imagine using this for mastering, it has a gentle touch on the subtler side of parameters. I am getting closering to thinking the 50% off $35 is a no-brainer for this. Unlike other channel strip-like plugins I have I the more subtle settings are what make this unique, plus the atypical extra parameters on some/most of the modules. Expanse and Console are turing out to be a pleasant surprise to me....pekbro wrote: Sat Oct 15, 2022 2:32 am I like the expanse plugin, will probably pick up the $20 upgrade. Have yet to try the console version.
... I ended up buying Console. It was $33 with my credits, thats no-brainer territory for what it does and sounds.
