Is there any reason why Roland doesn't have a VSTi version of the S-770? I've been jumping through hoops to figure out how to convert old sample libraries for the S-770, but a VSTi is something I'd be happy to purchase. It'd be much more convenient.

There was a converter someone on here created recently, but I forgot the name. Also I'm not sure if it can load that type of file.
I'm still waiting for a JP-8000 or 8080.

I found this statement on the website:
... even if you don’t keep a paid membership, you can continue to use hundreds of incredible ZEN-Core sounds with ZENOLOGY Lite.
So it seems that you can, but I'm not 100% sure.

There was an email sent out today and part of it mentioned this:
"Thank you for being a part of the Roland Cloud family. We value every member of our community, and we’ll keep bringing you the tools you need to make music...including a new Legendary polyphonic synthesizer very soon."

Odd, I didn’t get that, but happy to see there may be a new (ACB?) offering on the way. JX, JP or Jupiter???Examigan wrote: ↑Thu May 26, 2022 11:59 pm There was an email sent out today and part of it mentioned this:

Also in the email: they'll no longer be updating Concerto and the Concerto-based instruments, and you'll be able to continue to download and use them without any authentication...

I’ve never warmed to them, just a bunch of not particularly attractive presets really.

Can someone tell me how to update the Roland Cloud Manager? I've had a note saying it's been updated.
I followed the instructions on this page
https://www.rolandcloud.com/news/import ... r-update-1
Opened Cloud manager, went to library. There is no Roland Cloud manager there.

here is it hosted on rolands site:
https://www.roland.com/us/products/rc_r ... lang=en-US
Sometimes updating from the roland Cloud application itself it is bugged. Updating from the Roland site is the safe option.

thanks, it seems that it updated itself. Apart from getting the email I got the message that there were updates as a pop up. When I clicked further on that a second time it told me I was up to date.
I use probably 5 or 6 other updaters/ installer managers like UVI, NIs, PA etc..the Roland one is by far the most confusing.

Is there a way i can load my old hw JD-800 sysex in the vst JD-800?
So far i can't find anything for it.
If there's no way, i'll have to load it into the hw and manually program the vst JD-800 patch by patch. Going to be a pain in the ass browsing through the settings on that small screen.
