Can anyone tell what trance synths Smith & Pledger used especially for this track?
I assume they are VSTs
I also like this track but seems like it uses different synths, maybe?

just so you know I moved this to soundware, but I left a shadow in it's place...someone suggested it and I agreed, you might get more answers there
The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Based on the sound and production year, I’d guess there’s a lot of Virus in those two tracks, but there could also be Supernova, Waldorf Q, Nord, JP8080, etc and, of course, soft synths and romplers. That said, unlike today, there weren’t many soft synths that came very close to the Virus sound in 2004. That’s not to say that they couldn’t be soft synths, but the Virus was THE signature sound of early 2000s Anjuna- and A&B-style trance, so it’s a good bet.
