MODO BASS 2 - sounds and looks awesome.
A couple of questions as a MODO BASS 1 owner:
1. I assume MODO BASS 2 will be installed as a separate plugin and will not overwrite V1 installation.
2. If I upgrade to MODO BASS 2, there is no need to use V1 plugin for new projects as V2 contains everything V1 has and more. Of course, existing projects will continue to load MODO BASS 1 assuming point #1 is correct.

Yes - you're talking about the "full" ver 2 - right?2. If I upgrade to MODO BASS 2, there is no need to use V1 plugin for new projects as V2 contains everything V1 has and more.
That's right...Of course, existing projects will continue to load MODO BASS 1 assuming point #1 is correct.

Yes, I do mean (upgrading to) full version of V2.

These are working fine in Reaper (Windows 10).And F5 to E7 LEFT HAND POSITION seems to be ignored completely and overridden, too!
I haven't had a chance to play with the rest of the key switches - but I wanted to try these as I use them all the time
BTW they don't go F5 - E7 as the manual says, they go F5 - A6 (neck pos 17)

I see we have Modo Bass 2 CS added to our accounts. I'm not sure I'll install though as I don't really have time for Beta Testing right now.

If anyone sees a way to hide the new models that we don't own, please let us know.

I reported some undesired behavior to support today (possibly a bug).
If you change back and forth between amplifier models, any previous amp settings are reset so you cannot compare, or save a preset with two different amp settings.
Ctrl-clicking a knob or slider does reset it but not to a neutral value (i.e. the middle value), it always resets to some preset default value - this happens to be the same value that is recalled when switching amp models.
Anyone else noticed this?
Also, it would be nice to be able to save Amp plus Pedal presets independently of the global presets.

Oh, I only did a quick check that the neck position moved. Life is getting in the way, so I won't have a chance to have a good run through until Tuesday.
At the risk of stating the obvious - the notes you're playing *are* in the highlighted area - right?
Or could it have something to do with the "Fingering" setting? Mind you, I don't know which of these would be the best to try - between "easy" and "nearest".
If it is broken - I hope they fix it quick.

Hi jamcat,
I have to say that using the LH neck position keyswitches seems to be working here.
The only time the position changes is if a not is not actually in that position - so it goes one position down or up to accomodate - but then goes right back to the correct position.
I can happily play in 5th position or 7th position etc - and it stays right where it should be.
I'll dig in some more today - and see what I can come up with...

One thing I noticed - all my ver 1 presets seem to open up as fretless (string -> fretboard = fretless) which is weird since fretless didn't exist in ver 1.
so all ver 1 presets need to have the fretless setting changed, and "let ring" turned off.

Booted up Modo Bass 2 CS. (owner of Modo bass 1)
How do you get it to hide the items I don't own? I don't want to see them!!!!
Was interested in the patterns, but the CS is lacking any other than a few funk ones. So not much of a test really, without a few styles.
Looks like I'll stick to Ez bass for now until there is a group buy on this.
Might need to write a converter from EZbass midi to Modo bass midi. (and visa versa. Unless someone knows of one.....)
