yeah, i think I the ryo airtenuators for that (ie joining cables together to make a longer one) more than i do for attenuation.

Picked up a VPME Euclidean Circles v2 cheap and I think it’ll fit neatly into what’s basically a sequencer case alongside the Behringer 960, 962 and 162. It’ll be really handy because neither of the Behringer sequencers let you insert rests. I can use any unused gate outs for driving percussion and accents.

When I get the extra arms for my Jaspers rack I can have this sequencer rack as a dedicated DAWless unit to plug into my hardware synths. Should be fun, especially if I set them up to make drum sounds. The hydrasynth is great for that.

I feel a complete divot for wanting lots of quad this and that modules in a narrow space when I realise I have an Ornament and Crime and never loaded Hemispheres on it. It seems that offers 99% of the functionality I’m after whether it be like MI Branches or extra logic. I do find the original O_c firmware extra useful though for the quad quantiser and quad envelope modes so maybe I have to get an extra one. But… now out of rack space! Aargh, it never ends!

Just scored a second one of these. I love it.

Simple, flexible... essentially, and satisfactorily 'playable'. (for my purposes)

A compact, simple 8 step analog sequencer. It uses an external clock to cycle through 4, 6, or 8 steps. The output of the sequencer can be used to control the pitch of an oscillator, modulate a filter, or manipulate any module with a CV input.

Complex sequences can be created using a combination of the Reset, Hold, and Add inputs. The Reset input can be used to create odd or variable length loops while Hold pauses the movement of the sequencer. Voltage from the Add input is summed with the voltage created by the Sequencer transcribing the output.

The Sequencer module also makes a great sub-octave generator. Clocking the Sequencer at audio rates using the square wave of an Oscillator turns the Sequencer into a sub-octave waveform generator able to produce 1, 2, or 3 octaves below the frequency of the clock. Features:

Assignable Voltage Knobs
Sets the output voltage from 0-10v for each of the 8 sequencer stages.

Variable Step Count Switch (4 8 6)
Sets the number of steps the Sequencer module cycles through. 4, 8, or 6 steps can be selected.

Clock Input (CLOCK)
Clock source can be a square wave or gate signal.

Reset Input (RESET)
Positive voltage resets the Sequencer to the first step.

Hold Input (HOLD)
Positive voltage pauses the Sequencer.

Transpose Input (ADD)
Control Voltage Adder. Adds voltage of incoming signal to the output of the Sequencer. A simple way to transpose the output of the sequencer.

Outputs (OUT)
Dual buffered sequencer outputs.

Do you use anything for tuning or just by ear with/without a quantiser?

Just ordered a second one of these (nod to pekbro). This will replace Running Order and finally pair with my other Dot (chained).

It's on sale today. I wasn't going to buy anything, but this will be easier and faster to use than working with Running Order and that's always a good excuse to justice spending more.

I'll just miss the tap-in (step) pattern, but I do have other options now so it won't be as missed.
