Oh I see it now! It is in the product page (scroll down little bit). It is called "single download'!
Thank you, but I think I don't need it

Kushview Element is a great little patch bay host for using virtual patch cords to patch together various instrument and effects plugins outside of a DAW.WasteLand wrote: Thu May 26, 2022 7:24 am
it is $5 at this moment, Kushview Element, sometimes $3... that gets you the current version.. a pre-build, i.e. a full installer.
only, made this post, because there is confusing, and if someone wants oversampling for cheap, and many other possibilities with Element..
The coolest thing about Element is that it exposes all available MIDI/Audio ports in your plugins, so it's great for testing them. You can even run multiple patches from a single port, for example running a monitor plugin in parallel to see what's happening at a particular patch point.

indeed that is why i bought it.... the oversampling feature... well nice, in some occasions, but Element is much more.zzz00m wrote: Thu May 26, 2022 12:15 pmKushview Element is a great little patch bay host for using virtual patch cords to patch together various instrument and effects plugins outside of a DAW.WasteLand wrote: Thu May 26, 2022 7:24 am

the updates are slow, so i bought the single downloads only, once even twice, because, well... the price is gone up, but, it works, great. for me.

Not so worried about updates to Element... if it works, it works!WasteLand wrote: Thu May 26, 2022 12:27 pmindeed that is why i bought it.... the oversampling feature... well nice, in some occasions, but Element is much more.zzz00m wrote: Thu May 26, 2022 12:15 pmKushview Element is a great little patch bay host for using virtual patch cords to patch together various instrument and effects plugins outside of a DAW.WasteLand wrote: Thu May 26, 2022 7:24 am

It's just a utility for me, and I haven't run into any major bugs yet with v0.46.3. Doesn't appear to be missing any features, but if there's a must-have at some point in the future, I don't mind spending a few bucks to get it and support the developer.

Actually today I was testing out oscillator sync, something plugins are notoriously weak at, and Prophet 5 V actually did an excellent job. I put it up against my Prophet 6 and I was surprised at how it was a bit different, but just as good.briefcasemanx wrote: Wed May 25, 2022 2:14 am Seems like lots of people are ignoring the new Prophet emulation because Repro-5 exists. I didn't even check it out until today because I just assumed it wouldn't be useful since I own Repro-5, and many people were downplaying the arturia emulation. The new Arturia emulation is actually really good! It doesn't sound like Repro and probably isn't as good an emulation, but it's very, very musical. The way notes combine within chords, the way the attack sounds and how you get a little spritz of high end, the way oscillators combine. So far I think it's pretty awesome and I'll definitely be using it a lot, alongside Repro!

Just wanted to expand on this a bit. It seems to me that there is a problem with Arturia's timbre expression modulation. At present there does not seem to be a way to have full modulation from an unmodulated value, if a controller is setup of for bi-polar expression. So let's say you wanted to start with a completely closed cutoff and use timbre to open it up. The intial strike at full modulation would send the midway value of 64, so it would start at mid cutoff position. There's no way to start at zero as it is. They need a setting for relative or bi-polar timbre expression, so that 64 is interpreted as no modulation. This way you can have a full positive range from initial value (at 64), to full positive modulation (at 128). In this example of a starting point of a completely closed filter, you would have no negative range of thne parameter when you go from 64 downwards to zero, however you might use a bi-polar modulation on another parameter, which you do want them downward range to reduce a parameter value. Again, you'd want to start at the parameters actual value from that initial timbre value of 64, and lower from their to 0 according to mod amount.Echoes in the Attic wrote: Wed May 25, 2022 8:55 pm Has anyone noticed that the Slide expression seems to only modulate negatively? I was trying some of the new instruments in Bitwig on the screen grid keyboard which can modulate slide, and it only modulated the parameter in the downwards direction. For example applying slide to modulate filter cutoff would do nothing upwards, but darken the filter pulling down. The bitwig grid send bi-polar modulation of slide, so I'm not sure why the Arturia synths aren't interpreting this correctly?
Edit: Actually I was wrong. It modulates both ways, however I think it interprets the initial CC74 message of 64 as +64, rather than no modulation, which is better for bi-polar. There multiple ways to set the instruments up. Which is that intial strike is 0 and you get +128 either direction, or the intial strike is 64, and you get positive upwards and negative downwards. Would be nice if Arturia had a mode for bi-polar, with 64 as no modulation. Unless I missed a setting.

Does the upgrade price also go up after june 5th?jamcat wrote: Wed May 25, 2022 5:04 pm Arturia has made it clear that countdown if for the introductory pricing. June 5th is the last day of the discount.

It usually does. I expect it to increase by $50 as the standard upgrade price for dis-loyal customers (those on older versions) has been $349.

On the Arturia site, they list the Matrix-12 under the digital synths. I always thought it was analog - vcos and filter. Why do they list it with the digital synths?

I see it under the analog section.

Aha, Pigments has the setting to adjust this! But the others don't! Oh strange. If you look at the left hand panel here it has different categories! For example Emulator is under Analog and Matrix-12 is under Digital:Examigan wrote: Mon May 30, 2022 1:31 pm I see it under the analog section.
