Picked up a 2hp arp half price on eBay. I was this years old when I won my first ever eBay auction.

tell me about it. I’m weighing things up for a desk and kb stand reorg.
Such a shame my dual monitor stand can’t handle moving the monitor vertically or I’d just grab another Eurorack Go. The sliding nuts are crap, but 2 x 140hp and decent power for £240 is pretty unbeatable.
When the new arms for my stand get here I’ll check out if there’s any way to get a case on there. Tricky as they didn’t give the case square edges, it curves.

In a completely stupid move I’ve now just bought a Behringer MS-1. :dog:

Too much talking! Very inconvenient for stealing samples! The nerve of some people! :x

The wavefolder on the WP is smoooth. I like it a lot more than the 0-Coast one -- I always liked the one in the Double Helix and this sounds a lot like that did. Shame there's no slope generator onboard though.

I'm telling myself I don't need it, between Aalto and Minibrute 2S and having a bunch of Euro stuff that already goes all the way west. But if I had a spot for it I'd be really tempted.

Being a fan of all things bloopy, bleepy, sharty, and whoopy I want one of these.
Already have the patch cables...
...with all the colors, I am surprised they don't have glow-in-the-dark patch cables

I wonder what the cost of construction of West Pest vs the 0-Coast is? Not looking good for MN and their ridiculous mark ups...

Yes, all of the above, depending on what I'm sending it to. When I obsess over the perceived need for 'tuning', I run the clock really slow, and use the Mordax DATA.

One of the main things I love about it is the knobs make it so 'playable'. They are 16 or maybe 19mm, and nicely spaced on really decent pots, with good resistance, so they are easy to get dialed-in when tuning, or finding 'sweet-spots' when just messing around.

Also, having the two (identical) outputs is really really handy. For example... sending both to/through the Happy Nerding 3xMIA, and inverting/offsetting one of the outputs, and manipulating either or both, merging them, adding another modulation source to that mix (if I wish), and sending them alternately to the same thing(s), or different things, as illustrated here:

Nice, I’m using the 960 and the knobs are pretty crappy, but you do get 3 x 8 steps for not much money. Each row can be set to skippable which mixes things up a bit and I just picked up a vpme Euclidean Circles v2 which I could use to introduce rests, something sorely lacking. It was a toss up between that and the tiptop audio circadian rhythms, but being nearly half price and only taking up 10hp were things I couldn’t ignore.

For now I’m using a Ornament and Crime for quantising, but I have a lot of GAS around the ADDAC Intuitive Quantizer.

i rarely bother quantising, but if i do i go through civilization. using either rene or the malekko.
do have other sequencers but the crazy 8 is a kb layout, and the 0ctrl hasn't been used that way yet.

I've avoided o_C with a passion, or anything with a menu and dinky screen, which would have me screaming, though lately I am seeing its worth. I'd need two of them though, one with the stock FW and another with the Hemispheres FW. Interesting possibilities to be sure.

I don't have any dedicated 'drum' modules, as I use Oscillators, noise, filters, and samples for that task, but whether for percussion or not, a couple of 'utility' things I have meant to suggest to Rob Lee (for his drum machine), which you may also find of interest are these, which I find indispensable:

4ms Quad Clock Distributor [QCD] The indented pots, make this super easy to dial-in.

but with the more civilized panel.

And THIS! Absolutely brilliant module.

and/or, one or more of these. Far less versatile, but functionally simple:

Combined with this (on/off/momentary-on), placed before and/or after any/each of those:

That said... I've lusted long for the Doepfer A-155/154 combo, but the the price was just... no. Plus, I would doubtless want two or more of them, as I tend to double-up on things I like. When the 960 came along, I thought it seems to be a really practical alternative (price wise), but given the sequencers I've got, and that I already have a touch more than half of THIS set-up (total U and hp wise), I'll probably pass. :hihi:

I've frequently considered getting a second Double Helix. Love that thing to bits! :tu:

This WP however, is a whole lot of over-the-top crazy value in the functions for the $ game, let alone I think it sounds pretty fab, particularly for those plucky bass sounds, and general weirdness.

check here @2:06 and starting @11:26, gets good around 15:00-ish:
