My favorite thing is when Reverb sellers have a ridiculously overpriced product (like $200 for a product that usually goes for less than half that), then add an even more absurd shipping price ($130) for something like a guitar pedal or a tiny Roland Boutique synth. 
That said, I have no idea if people are buying those absurdly overpriced items, but I do notice that many of them seem to stay listed for months. That's not to say that there aren't deals to be had. I've gotten some great deals, but they go quickly, so I check it often in I'm in the market for a specific synth or something.

I found a comment from a couple years ago where there was an AudioWeevil 08 listed for £2800. I wonder if it's the same one? 
They have a "Deals and Steals" feature that's supposed to highlight low prices (though sometimes those are just normal prices). They should probably add an "Are You f**king Kidding Me?" section for outrageous prices too.

In some markets the price is whatever a fool is prepared to pay, not what it is really worth.
There is a garage with a kitchen sink for sale in downtown Amsterdam, costs the same as a proper house elsewhere. Bonkers.

So, I'm currently dealing with a situation that I think explains that ridiculous Korg asking price. I have several synths currently listed on Reverb that are also for sale on my local Craigslist. I've agreed to an offer from a local buyer for one of the synths, but I'm not able to meet him for a couple of days to complete the sale, which leaves me in a bit of a pickle regarding Reverb. I accepted his offer in good faith, meaning that I don't want someone to buy it on Reverb in the meantime, but that also means I'm relying on his good word that he'll come through with the purchase. So, my only options are to: (1) cancel the Reverb ad, which means I need to repost it and and start over if he backs out on the sale (2) keep it up and reject a sale if someone buys it on Reverb, (3) suspend all of my Reverb ads (i.e., use "vacation mode", which requires me to suspend ALL of my current ads, not just one), or (4) temporarily change the asking price to something ridiculous so nobody buys it before we complete the sale. I'm guessing that last option may be what the guy in the ad above is doing.
