Maybe for first time buyers they will do low prices but for those who have already their plugins or bundles, upgrade "promo" prices are a joke. In years I had just one good deal to jump from Elements version of Neutron or Ozone, to a bundle with standard version of those + RX (which is very important to me). From that time I haven't seen a single good deal that would make me buy an upgrade to Advanced or never version.
Since they announced subscription, their development is in stagnation. First Ozone 10 with some consmetic updates ala 0.x update as a major x.o upgrade and now Nautron 4 with features extracted from their other plugins that any bundle owner already has.
NI + iZ = de phutharrr of stagnation in zound!

At a certain point of time iZotope Ozone and Neutron were really helpful for me to improve my mixes and understanding of mastering.
But time has gone by and other (for me better suited) alternatives came across and I lost my interest in their products. Their marketing and their product development are imo "suboptimal".
My spending on their products was kind of an education fee, that's how I see it today. But I'm no longer attracted by them.
Sorry.

You didn't ask me, but I replaced Ozone with Elevate and I am a lot more satisfied with the results I get with it as compared to Ozone. Neutron I never really used, so I couldn't replace it.
(I own the whole suite and barely ever use it)

149$ upgrade (loyalty offer) for the standard version... I will probably wait for a Black Friday deal.
PS Thanks for Apple Silicone native neutron 3 anyway.

Thanks. As an owner of MPS 4, I am happy with what I've got and will not update at this point. Truth is that I only rarely use Neutron. For single tracks, TDR stuff, some Voxengo plugins and Klanghelm are doing the trick most of the time. And when mastering (or doing what I call mastering ... not highly professional), it's also TDR, Voxengo and some other solutions. Ozone is a convenient all-in-one package, however.jens wrote: Fri Jun 03, 2022 8:30 am You didn't ask me, but I replaced Ozone with Elevate and I am a lot more satisfied with the results I get with it as compared to Ozone. Another thing that has not been mentioned yet: In the past, when updating MPS, Groove3 was included for one year. This offer seems to have vanished. For me, it was a huge selling point, as it was ok to pay 150 bucks on sale and to get the video courses for another year. The new deal does not appeal to me at all, as it seems you get Brainworx stuff which I have no use case for, and EA reverbs which may be excellent but are iLok.
Just my opinion.

I think this thread has just saved me money..I was interested in the unmask but as mentioned Trackspacer (which I already have) does a similar thing and is possibly more tweakable.

I still think the weirdest / most baiting thing is the “new” unmask feature that was already in Neutron EQ 3. There MUST be something different about it (apart from cosmetic changes) - anyone know what?
I’m an iZotope fan. Somewhere around 3-6 years ago development seemed really strong, especially with RX but other product like Neutron too. Now development has slown to a crawl. Subs / Soundwide feel like displacement activities more than the cause, but could be wrong.

Any time I ever put Neutron on a track I always ended up removing it.jens wrote: Fri Jun 03, 2022 8:30 am You didn't ask me, but I replaced Ozone with Elevate and I am a lot more satisfied with the results I get with it as compared to Ozone. Neutron I never really used, so I couldn't replace it.

iZotope Relay doesn't display properly in the most recent release versions of Studio One or Bitwig. iZotope blames the DAWs.
