Does CA ever do major updates to their soft synths? As in adding features like, just pulling a random idea out of a hat, something like velocity?

They added oversampling, and the randomise feature in 8-voice, and they've said they'll be adding the new favourite button thing to everything eventually.

There's a kids clothing company local to me (well, except I thought they'd closed down) called 'MiniMode', maybe they got a C&D.

Sounds good to me. I have a original Model D. I've had it for decades. I didn't AB them but generally speaking the Miniverse sounds good.But only with oversampling as high as you can go. There are some aspects that aren't exacly right but generally speaking it sounds like a minimoog.

They sure should be. The demo track sounds pretty good. It’s got 8 more voices than Legend.

I'm guessing Moog approached CA and said, "If you want to use our name and likeness, you have to pay up." This would, of course, cause CA to raise the Minimode from its current price of $39 to something like $89, a move they'd definitely loathe to make.

a brand name will cost you, but indeed not thát much... strangely Polymode, for instance, no prob... i think because if the Minimoog of Moog...
