That must be truly purposeful fugly right there. It was intended to be that ugly to scare away anyone with a sense of taste.

What if futures plugins won’t work for ugly users?

I do not understand this MOK company. They built into their new plugins something like 30 selectable guis, all a mess. The above is a few pics of their new synth, and they have a new filter too with a similar style and another 30 absurd guis. They might be great plugins, I will never know. What do others think of this? Is this attractive to anyone?

F***'it here is a pic of the filter too just because, LOOK at this...

I like the filter one as artwork, not so much as a functional interface

Most people can't use plugins with a "bad" gui, which is why the fantastic Anwida Spatio reverbs go almost unnoticed.

I came across this abomination just today. It's like Cherry's Dream Synth on steroids. It's called araucann by iraisynn attinom. Even the name of this synth is an aberration.

If you can't dazzle 'em with brilliance, baffle 'em with bullshit.

On the contrary: given current trends, I think eventually that's all there will be. But our standards will be so low/effed up, nobody will realize it.

And lol at MOK. I think that would look great in a Klingon ship, but for music here on Earth.....

Dexed also comes to mind. Hideous.
