A glimpse into the source code

Above you see a collage with some of the custom-built wavetables I used to design the presets.
Think of the wavetables as the secret sauce. They come in different flavors, textures, thermal gradients… and are an easy and effective tool to build unique patches.

I released six wavetable packs earlier and had more than 450 wavetables at my fingertips… to pick and choose from, to play around with and to mix with each other.
Now, at the end of the design process a handpicked selection of 129 wavetable molecules make up the DNA of 85 carefully crafted presets.

The wavetables are embedded within each Vital patch.

+128 Custom-Made Wavetables

We have added a bonus folder with all the 128 custom-made wavetables that were utilized to build the presets.

With this colorful palette of fresh ingredients at hand you will receive a powerful, easy-to-use and time saving sound design toolbox to build your own patches.

They are compatible with other wavetable synths like Serum or Pigments and import-ready!

Here is how the sauce got made: We sampled our favorite analog hardware synths and recorded live instruments… sliced, mixed and chopped up the best pieces of meat into wavetables… sculptured and messed around with their DNA by using warp modes and formulas… rendered, resampled and cooked up everything until we got unique strings of molecules that sounded awesome right out of the box.

+52 Drum Samples

As another bonus, we’ve included 8 kick and 4 clap samples that were used in the audio demos. Next to 25 percussive samples (which we totally recommend to also import as sound design tools into the noise oscillator section of Vital) we would love to point out the 15 samples in the layering tools folder.

Layer those up with your kick or clap samples to give your drums more depth and texture. They are a fantastic tool kit for adding that extra organic feel and for beefing up your drum sounds.
