I cannot take Zynaptiq ´coming soon´and teasers seriously anymore, that’s all they basically do with no concrete releases since several years

They should use the word “nigh” in their teasers. You know, “the end of the world is nigh”. “Zynaptiq Orange Vocoder is nigh”.

Yeh, I have to agree with what's said- it just looked and sounded dreadful...Zynaptiq have made some great stuff, this just seems pointless as you can do all this real time, who wants to just press a button and wait for rendered audio with no idea what it will sound like!

Looks like they’re making their way towards releasing all the Audiofile Engineering software (I hope). I never upgraded from Sample Manager 3 to Myriad before they closed up shop, and bought out by Zynaptiq.

I never liked Triumph but I’m hoping Myriad is next.

15secs processing time for a 10sec clip on an Mac Studio, to do something i can do realtime in logic without my measly M1 even breaking a sweat?
Probably running rosetta.

Also it just looks like rebranded Aurchitect Triumph - exact same GUI from 2016, looks like same AppleScript support...
They've had this tech for what, two three years now?

christ they're lazy af. They just wanted to be a part of NAMM and took one of the 4 products they bought and went "hey lets slap V3 on it and call it new"

They can do this 4 more years with Myriad, Aura and Spectre.

I love Myriad and it's great that they've re-established the licensing server tho

I forgot that Audiofile Engineering became Aurchitect.

Not that I liked Triumph but the video is just showing off automation possibilities. The resultant sound is not as important as is the process and it’s likely faster for repeated processes in Triumph than it is any host at real time processing especially when considering load times.

I hope they don’t wait 4 more years for Myriad. I contacted them recently and Denis replied with a “soon” for a Myriad release.

i mean, that's true, but that's not new. Triumph has had AppleScript support since forever

i find it funny that they decided to go to NAMM to show off tech they bought a few years ago that was there even a few years earlier - practically unmodified and not ready for release.

The first time I heard of them was UNVEIL. Genuinely revolutionary, the first of its kind. Several other good, clever products followed like UNCHIRP, again a one-of-a-kind.

Then they seemed to acquire some other tech (Orange Vocoder). They released a few increasingly ordinary products, and the Vocoder is now MIA for 4 or 5 years. The early products never evolved and often got betterd by competitors. They seem to be showing an almost unmodified old product now at NAMM.

What happened? How did they go from the great innovators and disrupters to almost nothing?

Not that I have a position on this, but they’ve been around far longer than Zynaptiq.

I don’t think this is the last thing they have to offer, probably just rolling out tools they likely use and for others to use once again.
