Hi friends,

Sadly, it looks like OmniTag has run its course. I cannot afford to keep the Shopify site online with so few sales, so I will be closing it on July 15th this year.

I am running a 'fire sale' from now until then, so if you were on the fence, it's only USD $29.95. After that, I'm happy to sell a copy to anyone via PayPal for the regular price of $49.95 - just PM me here on the forum, or email marclawson3 at gmail dot com if you are interested.

Support-wise, I am not going anywhere, so if you need tech support just reach out.

Cheers and thanks for being a fan - all 50 of you!!!

Wow and ouch. Honestly thought more people would be interested. It's been nothing short of wonderful for the problem it addresses. Thank you so much for creating this and the continued support.

Of course! I am proud of it, but it seems to be a niche thing and didn't get widespread traction. I think people are more interested in soundsets and sample libraries than something admin like this! All good, though. Thanks for your post

Really useful tool. How about using bandcamp - I know I've purchased soundets from their website, no idea if you are able to do the same with software (never looked). Hope you keep it going and nice to hear you'll continue maintaining it.
As an idea maybe get a bundle of users to make a soundbank - sell that and have the software included in the bundle (just a thought) or maybe someone like PlugInGuru, soundmountain or the like supporting it on their webpage - im sure they're 3rd party affiliated. Goodluck.

In a world where original products are rare, still less so well executed, it’s a sad day.

Nice tool, I've just bought it. How can I reset "Ignored folders" option? Is there a way to restore original entries or maybe add something there?

There's an X top right to remove any ignored folder.

You can roll back any changes to a library - click on the library, then HISTORY, select an earlier version (or the original) and RESTORE.

The number of tags in Omnisphere 2 is insane and makes it a bit tedious to work with, especially after getting used to Nexus4.

If I understand correctly, this tool only works with 3rd party libraries, am I right?

Is there a way to streamline the tags of the entire library (all factory + 3rd party + Sonic Extensions)?

Thanks, but how do you restore ignored folders list once you've removed everything from there?
It's not related to restoring any already conformed library to its previous state.

One of the proud 50 here - thanks for having created that. It´s strange though how there´s a lot of people in music forums complaining about Omnisphere tagging issues and 3rd party libraries´ "all over the place tagging", and so few people want to spend a few $ to remedy the issue.

Maybe people would really rather want to have one more soundset instead of a tool that doesn´t make any sound - maybe it´s just hard to become known enough.

Have you considered offering OmniTag in cooperation with PluginGuru? Skippy is a nice guy, and sure open for a talk. Ok, you basically have a tool that remedies his tagging issues :hihi: ... but if he added a "+Omnitag +$9.99" option to his soundsets, that might help. His Omnisphere soundsets seem to sell rather well.

Yes, it can only ever be 3rd party only, their licensing precludes modifying their own stuff (besides any technical complications). Given that those can never change, it seemed the only sane way to continue is to make 3rd party stuff conform to their standards. With every developer doing their own different thing, it's just completely unmanageable.

I'm being very slow in understanding, sorry - can you bullet point the steps you've made?
