we are having technical difficulties... I don't know if my firewall is letting the stream out
and chris' DSL is down.
goddamn it.
If I get a solid stream going, I'll post again.

sorry for the tease everyone - unless the main stream comes back online, the rebroadcast will have to be rescheduled

thanks for listening
we're planning another jam in the next few weeks, so far it's shaping up to be a duel of the evolvers, plus some hot filter action. the machinedrum will carry the clock.

cool mark
ok, the stream is over. All told, there were 17 listeners over the life of the broadcast to my stream - Chris' stream was up too, so I'd say it was a success
time to go to work....

If the time was correctly stated w/your post...your broadcast went out about 12:00pm last night.
Too late,I missed it.
One question though;
-If your broadcasting a recording,why use a 56kb/s stream?Seems that a 56kb/s 2hr mp3 could be server hosted a lot easier,and not time or listener limited.Or if you are broadcasting,and streaming it from a home computer,why not host it at a server,then have it redirected to the streaming server for broadcast?(no packet,handshake lose)
Even a"live"broadcast,is not truely live,(timewise),i`ve seen it vary 60secs between two listeners.(but that`s of no real importance)
I saw at the mac site,that you offer interactive feedback through your AIM messenger.(which gave me a "not a valid user"when I called it up sometime after you lost your feed handshake last night.)...But using a messenger in a "live" broadcast can make it all "realtime"...but if you`re busy playing...well,it would be cool to use a chat room instead, for before/after the performance, for interactive feedback.
Thsi gives a real "live" performance feel.
Just some thoughts to share.
Barry.
