CCT..I hate to cheat here, but..

What are the chances of having this application load EnergyXT?

Chaining is almost done :)
To do -> config load/save, move up/move down, delete button

I think the best will be per vsti duration setting.

Autoloop is on the way too :) I did some drawings at school hehe

edit:
Hmm so i throw out preset dialog, and add context menu to select presets. Bypass button for each vsti. Memory buttons is a good idea :)
That's killer, man!

Contextual menus are your friend! Load em up!

This thing is kicking ass..

That's wierd.

:?

It crashes your app every time I try to load it..Maybe it's a soundcrad thing or something..I'm on my work machine running asio4all..

Post

Crashed again using my home machine..

Both are P IV's running XP. One has an Emu 1212m, the other's running asio4all.

No version I grab of eXT wll load..

On an unrelated note, it would be great if this could be a rewire Host so we could suck the brains out of all those Reason refills..

:D

I know, I know..just wishful thinking. If I can get eXT loaded I'm happy..

Anyone else have this problem? Or suggestions?

what i really would like to see if i could use this for external gear too! for example if i could add the "live input" like in chainer.. and it will be recorded in real-time!

that would be the most important point to change from chainer to this already great tool!

As said before, for OSX there's Redmatica's Autosampler which will more or less do exactly that.

It can be fed with *any* input (live, virtual instruments), offers several modes for MIDI notes, layers and what not, that you want to sample, then records, trims and patches up stuff automatically.
Really amazing and apparently working very well too.

As it even seems to send out program changes you could just sort of set it up for batch processing.
Cable your favourite hardware synth to it, set up the relevant parameters, leave it running over night and the next morning you'll have some key- and velomapped samples of the synth, fresh for use in your sampler.

However, Autosampler doesn't do autolooping, for reasons I don't know. I somewhat know the author, and I also know he had a kickass autolooping algorhythm (he sent me some demo patches), but I haven't talked to him in quite a while, so I wouldn't happen to know why he left such a kickass feature out. Maybe due to whatever technical difficulties.

Ok,did'nt wanted to say it before but,
I had this idea for quite a while in the back of my head.
But, lets get one thing after the other done,
or nothing will get done.

When the time is right, I will explane how this can be done quite easily.
But lets wait a while.

Hi:
First of all, I just want to express my sincerest admiration for you fellows. Thanx so much for making this excellent tool.
Second, Just a quick question: will the VSTi/layers have a transposition offset? The reason I ask is that I dream of being able to make a triple drum kit SF2 using three instances of Drumatic, or N.A.D.S., or Granite - why, you might ask, would I want such a thing? To load into my soundcard's sampler when I am jamming around with ideas. Some other reasons too, but that is the main one. Anyway, if that is planned (or already possible) it would be absolutely amazing.
Cheerx, droogs.

one more thing:
I just want to extend my compliments on the GUI; it is easy to look at, and really straight forward to understand. Very well done. :)

Let's hope so.
For now, get the Chainer demo and extract to your likings (it has a transpose function too).

But, as this is going better each day, you soon won't need Chainer anymore.

hey, i already know autosampler.. but as you mentioned, it's not ported to windows. and i've never saw any other "autosampler" for windows. that's why i would like to see such a feature. but as CCT said, first the other things have to be done!

Chaining is done. Now it is possible to load up to 254 plugins per chain.

I heard about possible usage in live acts etc. so i am implementing midi input. When it will be ready i add multiple chains support assignable to different midi channel. It is simple to code, that i am making it before autolooping etc. The next thing will be autolooping or midiout support with wave in device. If those things will be finished autosampling feature will be easy to do :)
I am thinking about switching license to something like donationware, because i have no money to buy for e.g better sound card to make asio tests etc.

Next release for about 2-4 days.
