This is just incredible! I've used awave studio to do specific patches on Triton Le. Now addition of MPC livexone is incredible! I'd say older akai discs are goldmine (though finite in quantity and especially quality, but there are some keepers for sure). With this piece its possible to convert stuff to MPC livexone format.

As I commented above, AFAIK there is no public documentation of that format. If there is, please let me know.

Just a quick note for anyone else trying to install the Mac OS version - the manual says "Console" but you need "Terminal" to execute the commands listed avoid the corrupted file thing. I'm sure most people with programming brains know this already, but figured I'd share for all the other non-programmer brains out there! Thank you Moss as always for all the amazing tools :)

Thanks for the clarification! As you guessed correctly I could never imagine that this could be an issue :D

Will be changed!

Still crashing on High Sierra Mac even after applying both suggested installation fixes. Opens for 5 seconds without GUI appearing then crashes. OS X 10.13.6 MacBook Pro 15-inch Mid 2010 4GB RAM 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7.

I am afraid this might be an incompatibility with this OS. Did you get any error message?

Post

No, unfortunately. :( With which macOS does it work?

Java JDK frm Adoption says 10.14:

Is it also planned to have the possibility to convert from and to Kontakt formats such as (.nki, etc.) or Nord Piano (.npno)?

Still no luck opening CWM 5.0 even after updating JRE to latest and trying all the macOS tricks. Maybe High Sierra and El Capitan need earlier versions of CWM?

It's a bust for me on macOS, but I've successfully and painlessly installed it on Linux.

I just barely discovered this for linux (thanks to Stuzog's post above)! Thank you, Moss for this converter!!

Nord defintively no, since I do not have one. Regarding nki, I stumbled over a bit of documentation of the old formats, so maybe I might look into that.

ConvertWithMoss 5.1 is out!
  • New: WAV files are added as destination format e.g. in case you only want to extract WAV files from SF2 files.
  • New: Store WAV ending in lower-case when converted from MPC Keygroups.
  • Fixed: (Bitwig) Multisample files must not be compressed for faster access. Bitwig can also handle compressed files but other hosts supporting the format might fail. If you created Multisample files with this converter, simply run a new conversion on them with Multisample as source and destination to fix the issue.
  • Fixed: Created (Bitwig) Multisample metadata file contained wrong group indices (off by 1).
Enjoy!
