They usually have a discount around December (down to $99) for the Pro subscription where you can choose a lifetime key. I've never seen it lower than that price.

i dont expect each month a new vst but Rolandcloud atm is really not special for old customers... especially that they dont enhance the existing vsts sadly.

i agree. and, as a result, i really question the value going forward.

they should really just sell the stuff outright. at this point, the subscription model is really showing it's weakness.

ahh yes the pro workaround subscription trick.. indeed.
I would grab it at that price if I didn't have to go thru the whole pro subscription thing... do you get it at the end or the start of the subscription?

Yep, the subscription is for 1 year and you can use any of the instruments that are with the Pro level for that time period. I did that twice (two different years during the Play4Life deal) and just selected what I wanted right away.

I forgot its actually $99 all the time, not really reduced in price. I meant the Play4Life deal brings down the price of any Legendary series plugin to $99.

This is the part I saw about that in the email, and I believe its posted on their site somewhere also. It doesn't mention about Zencore or Component modeling:

"Thank you for being a part of the Roland Cloud family. We value every member of our community, and we’ll keep bringing you the tools you need to make music...including a new Legendary polyphonic synthesizer very soon."

Ruling out synths that would be superfluous variants of those already in the Legendary collection, looking through Roland's history it seems the only classic polyphonic synths left to release at this point would be the JP-8000, Alpha Junos, JX-8P, and Jupiter 4. (Unless I've missed one?)

I'd love to see a Roland Cloud Alpha Juno or Jupiter 4. My bet is on the JX though.

I kinda lumped those two as variants of 8P and the 8000. (Not that they wouldn't be welcome. ) But that's a good point about the others. I'd do a little dance if it turned out to be a VP-330.

Jupiter 6 and Roland Fantom X and G is also missing.

I didn't realize the Jupiter 6 was so distinct from the Jupiter 8! I wasn't really considering their more modern synths and workstations but a Fantom would be really cool, especially if it allowed for user samples.

have my hopes up for a jp8000.. and its not gonna be 8080 i think, they probably would wanna have the full version with keybed ... but one can hope
