I don't know if this is the forum for it.. :) I can't find anything to back this up, but does this DnB track sample Cocteau Twins - Cherry Coloured Funk (from the Otherness EP)? It's got to, right?

I dunno - I can't really hear it as exactly the same anywhere. Any specific phrase you can pick out? Maybe they just both used the same synth patch :)

(I didn't know this mix of Cherry Coloured Funk, so I have to link the regular version just cos its so great)

It is pretty disguised noiseboy. From the CT track, it's that pad that kind of smears an arpeggio. The way I hear it, the DnB track samples and repitches it.

Maybe it's a long shot but I couldn't let go of the idea. :)
