very exciting stuff like : a replacement 10U 19" rack, and some more switched 4-way multiblocks, now in place, plus a 3u 19" rack shelf, and a multi-pedal power supply still to come at the end of the week.

I haven’t placed an order and I can’t decide if that’s something I’ll regret.

It’s a great sound, improved with added types for degradation and now in stereo. I just have my eyes set on Bim, Boum and possibly Elektron’s Analog Heat.

I decided to sleep on it and decide in the morning, but I still can’t decide! I think the biggest thing for me is deciding how often I want this type of effect and if I really need it in hardware form.

Yeah I get that, I've just wanted one for a while and was pretty annoyed that they were impossible to get, or being sold for near $1k or whatever on reverb. With welcome new features and actual availability, I just said screw it and paid up.

Fortunately, I am certain that I will like it, since I like everything pretty much. :)

 Yeah can’t go wrong.

It’s gonna be a great pedal and that 1K price tag was annoying.

FOMO.

My Deluge arrived today. :hyper:

After a lot of umming and arring I ended up just buying another Eurorack Go.
I don’t like the sliding nuts and the bottom 3u is pretty shallow, but can’t argue with the 3A power supply or 280hp of space for £240. I will fill a lot of it straight away by rehoming my Neutron and Model D.

I also managed to get an order in for a Tenderfoot Quad Quantizer. I was using an ornament and crine for it, but it’s a little too menu divey plus I want to free it up to use some of the other stuff it does.

we all umm and ahh, then add more rack space/guitars/pedals...

someone should make an umm and ahh sample pack, then we could save time and just buy the stuff.

Yeah, though I was always getting another rack, but was toying with a Mantis, Eowave or Doepfer one, just seems the Eurorack Go offers best bang for buck.

Even if it is made from the tears of Chinese puppies. Probably.

ah i see, makes sense.
sadly weren't a thing when j was looking at racks. the mantis offered best power for someone who didn't have a clue about all the power ratings, specifically designed for modern digital power drainers.

i was more pissed off about the covers, first two racks, got them, 25 quid a pop, not too bad for keeping dust off when not in use(and spiders) went to get one for the third, 50 quid :o
not like the cost of plastic doubled in that time.

And then, someone finally elaborates on how versatile this is (whether just starting out, or well kitted-out), with a decent walk-through.

It does. (and it doesn't have those pointless buttassugly no-reason or purpose visually distracting and therefore annoying raised 'curves' on the outer edge of the top 3U, like the "could never-ever-ever buy one" 'cuz I couldn't stand to look at it, bug named one does)

Did you manage to get your 'go' mounted in your a-frame?

... scroll-saw. Then screw some appropriately raised rubber speaker foot pads into the existing pad mounting points (if you are using it on a table/desk.) Or a nice boxed frame, of adequate height, that it could sit on. Measured right, four of these pads would hold it in place nicely. :tu:

If I remember right from when I had one, there are big-ass capacitors for the PSU in there, where they're out of the way of modules.

I didn't mind the shape of the Mantis, I just didn't like the "cheap Dell from 1993" color of the plastic and seriously thought about wrapping mine in gaffer tape. But they come in black now.

And THAT!!! :dog:

This is the 'design aesthetic' I cringe over. Trivial though it be, it just makes me want to take a sledge-hammer to it.

Indeed.... and they are making some very intriguingly awesome Buchla modules. :tu:

... aside from that. I'm feeling the need for one o'deezes. :borg:
