Super excited about this one.
There's a musicradar article about it in Google's search results from about 6 hours ago saying it has "arrived", it's 404 now but you can still bring up a cached version. The most important bits:
"Famed for its fat, warm sound and straightforward front panel, the Jupiter-4 offered a single VCO, a filter, an LFO section and more. Roland has modelled all of these features using its ACB (Analog Circuit Behaviour) technology, which promises to emulate not only each individual element, but also the way they interact with each other.
In addition, you get new Circuit Mod and Condition controls that enable you to adjust the character of the sound to suit your taste.
Other modern enhancements include extended oscillator range, adjustable noise, velocity sensitivity, sub-oscillator volume control and an arpeggiator. Phaser, flanger, overdrive, reverb and delay effects join the classic Ensemble chorus from the Jupiter-4, too."

Has anyone who has an annual plan switched to a higher level plan? Ie gone from Core to Pro. Did it work out ok? The website talks about monthly billing but if you are doing an annual plan that wouldn't really apply.

Holy wow, I´d honestly given up hope that Roland would ever hear all the "Give us a Jupiter 4!" calls in most electronic music forums. I am sure they *do* know their market though, and demand for a JP4 -outside electronic music forums- may be on the small side after all (it´s surely more niche than a Jupiter 8 ), so that´s possibly a bit of "fan service".
Given the excellent quality of their other ACB models, I´ll grab that plugin without hesitation... if that plugin sells well enough for them to justify a Boutique version, that will be even better.

Indeed
I guess they just took the code of the Promars and did some recycling.

it'll take more than this to keep the subscription active.

It's not on their website yet, but he has a video already?

Seems to have somewhat jumped the embargo, I think, although apparently Roland have been changing embargo dates/times around at the last minute on this, so it's possible there was some confusion as to the final launch date... I think the embargo lifts in a few hours.

Been saving a lifetime credit for the next synth and….not on the list when choosing. That’s disappointing.
