What's a good backup drive app to use for Ableton Live?
I want something that can backup easily all my audio needs, vst presets and Ableton Live work etc.
I only need it for my music.
Whats a good program fo this? I already have a backup hard drive hardware unit.

There's no backup software specifically for Live, or any other DAW for that matter. Use generic backup software. Easus or somesuch.

For genuine backup, onsite isnt enough, also use cloud storage.

Software-wise R Drive backup has excellent reviews. https://www.drive-image.com/

I personally would avoid cloud storage. Cloud storage is just a backup “somewhere else” and the data transfer would be over an internet connection which opens the door for pops, clicks etc. Whyter is correct in saying you haven’t backed up until you have at least two copies of the backup. You can keep it as simple as a couple of USB or TB external hard drives or go all out on RAID utilities. Enjoy the rabbit hole

eh? how would an offline backup of your project files be subject to pop and clicks? Even if you mapped a cloud drive to your PC and used that as your recording drive I'd expect error correction to ensure the data was perfect. Maybe real time playback problems but that's a different matter.

I've found with all the free storage people give out nowadays, a cloud back up is useful to have. I don't have massive archives of old projects, a few I've kept at a project level for further work but generally just keep stems. So, I guess I'm not a typical user but having stuff off site as well as on a couple of physical drives is about as secure as you can get.

I think he meant to say "don't open the project from the 'OneDrive' icon in the list of devices & folders".
Although all your cloud data is physically stored in C:\Users\{you}\OneDrive it's good to be cautious.

For most cloud storage, files and folders can be set to live online, in which case they download on-the-fly when needed.
So dont allow that, ie set it up to keep copies local.

For Onedrive, its right-click>Always keep on the device.

And then there's the case where you are updating your project all the time, then OneDrive tries to sync your data through a lousy internet connection, whilst blocking file I/O and eating CPU cycles.

I prefer physical backups. Picked up a couple of seagate 8TB drives from costco recently for around $120 each. Have had pretty good luck with seagate drives in the past. Doesn't look like they have the same deal now, but if you have a costco membership, you can keep an eye on the deals section.
