Yeah... I guess they priced is so high because we live in the "never buy anything at full price" era now.

, but yeah $179 is a bit surprising for me, anyway i got an intro price and abyss price so this pice is more fitting in my opinion.

cant i direct NOVUM to a different folder for the CONTENT PACK? i saved it in my Plugins Installer folder... dont want it in C: blablabla

I suppose you can save it wherever you want, and only drag the basics folder to Novum. That is what I did anyway.

Correct. Just drag the BASICS folder (not the zipped folder) from anywhere on your system directly on the plugin and that registers the pack.

Have you been to a grocery store lately? Energy prices have pushed everything through the roof. I don’t notice the gas prices (electric cars), but I see it in everything. I wish I could get solar, but we live in a condominium. I wish government would step in and start requiring it. Having a main energy source that can be manipulated by the UAE, Putin and other despotic regimes is untenable. I’m happy to pay the intro price because I see it as supporting people who make things that I love.

One of the included reverb models in NOVUM. Supposedly it was modeled after the open source "Cloud Seed" reverb. It's extremely dense.

Two little sound design tricks to get you started:

- load any preset. then drag an audio file (up to 30 secs) from your system/daw onto Novum. You will instantly play the new sample with all the modulations of the loaded preset. Then lock timbres and envelopes (the little locks next to the six layers). if you then change presets, your audiofile will remain, only modulations, effects and granular settings change.

- if you want to change the playback speed under envelope to an exact value like half (0.5) or double (2), right-click the parameter. This works especially well, if you unlink the sex layers.

Best synth since Absynth 5.

Great news, Abyss is also a great synth I use a lot. The clouds reverb sounds amazing.

not really tricks per say...they are part of his envisioned use cases for the synth...the walkthrough from the developer himself a couple days ago is way more useful and accurate than a lot of the stuff I seen on the internet so far

the VI-control thread also has ton of explanation right out of the developers mouth and much more enlightening audio examples of possibilities than the preset demo imo; as users submitted samples and objectives for the developer to try and achieve...
