Mrs Natural, my sister, her husband and I saw them last night at Pine Knob. They absolutely smoked Kid Charlemagne. Green Earing a close second. Burned the place down. Cool shout out to Aretha Franklin(while in Detroit)though - Hey Nineteen. The crowd(and we)went crazy. If you get a chance to see them this summer, I can not recommend this enough.
Jon Harrington is a monster as is Jim Beard on piano and this kid on trumpet(didn't catch his name). It's an eff'ing crack band. Downside of last night's performance was that Fagen's questionable singing is . . . basically gone. The girls carried a lot of lead.

i saw them perform the entire royal scam album at the paramount theatre in seattle back when becker was still alive. when they finished the royal scam, they played half of aja as an encore. incredible band. incredible show. so glad i saw them.
