The search bar you are seeing is from cubendo's header. Actually not of any use in tone2 (or many other synths) preset browsers

Markus, the extraneous presets are only on the mac installer ftr, the PC intaller does not install them.

So have you found the "finder" ? I simply can find it, there is nothing in the preset bar to search/check out/order by file date

ooh...

on the mac the finder is what pc people call the explorer.

It is not in the plug in or the daw, but how you navigate the computer files itself.

But that does not really help (at least not on windows)

In most of the categories there have been changes but the date inside the category is always the same for me (07.06.2022), I think the date when the version is compiled maybe, whatever, you cant see whats new this way.

Would really be great if you could have a category with 2.5 new sounds (not to talk about a more 2022 and comfortabel preset browser....).

Firstly I do agree that a 2.5 category or even a pdf with the new presets would help. Maybe that will come when it is released (this may still be public beta).

But the procedure is the same..
go to your preset folders, list by folders modified, then open each of those and see which presets have the newest modified dates and those are the newer ones..
I did it on the mac, when thru them and copied them across to the pc so that my favourited ones will reflect on my pc, so it may be harder to show you from a screen shot on my pc since I copied every folder in the Icarus sound banks..

But on mac...

All new sounds have a BT at the end of the name. They were made by BigTone. They are sorted to the according categories where they belong.

New sounds are also exclusively these categories:
Atmo 2
Demo Boundless
Demo Dark Vibes
Demo Flights
Demo Sparkle

When finalize my 'Dreams' set will upload a pack with free presets,cause every preset have 20-30 variations.
Today made a demo project to explain how nonlinear dynamic works,but will upload it tomorrow.

Only request i have to Markus is,if it is possible to add with next updates a matrix modulations of gate fx so to be applied dynamically to main stream.

i mean fx under glitch section - rising gate fx is super cool on pads,you can do it with midi assignment nside the mix,but i need it as part of internal dynamics when build dynamic layers within a preset so to achieve multidynamics.

I'm testing Icarus 2.5. The rendered file has 30 seconds of silence added to the end of the song. When I remove a plug-in from my project, the file is saved no added silence at the end.
Can anyone confirm this?

I am using FL Studio 20.

from the technical aspect it is not possible for a plugin to have control over the length of the stream rendered by the daw.
you can not save patches or songs with the demoversion of icarus.
