This feature will be complete in the next nightly and will be in our production release late spring/early summer.

Oh also: it's a good reminder to make sure things end up in GitHub! The 3 year old GH issue had a link to your request which is why I remembered to post this.

In the meantime, I have managed to get in touch with Voger Design team (thankfully they're safe!). They will be updating the skin, so with some luck the updated skin could coincide with Surge XT 1.1 release (date still not decided).
