Three tabs for a basic mini synth? Something is seriously amiss in the BLEASS design department. There is so much space left on screen its just bizarre to separate and hide away basic functions.
There are plenty of quality free alternatives like the new Zebra CM that don't force these hostile anti user design choices on customers.

From what I've sampled of the presets, there are at least a few that are worth the vst download, for sure, imo.
I like the look of the interface. Won't comment on how many tabs there should be or the layout, no opinion.
Thanks!

What do you think of the sound?tactile_coast wrote: Tue Jun 21, 2022 11:04 pm Three tabs for a basic mini synth? Something is seriously amiss in the BLEASS design department. There is so much space left on screen its just bizarre to separate and hide away basic functions.

It was probably laid out this way to work well on small screens, particularly iPhones. It's not hostile, anti-user, or bizarre to cater to a population of users that happens to have other needs or preferences than you.tactile_coast wrote: Tue Jun 21, 2022 11:04 pm Three tabs for a basic mini synth? Hmmm I wasn't expecting much from this little synth but I like the sound. It's got a nice attitude and character about it.
Shame it's monophonic but judging by the interface and website I imagine a commercial polyphonic version is in the plans.
EDIT: Hint, put the recently released free Deelay plugin behind this synth. They complement each other quite well.

I'm relaxed about tabbed interfaces on desktop, because the inconvenience is compensated for by not being confronted with tons of tiny controls made to fit into a tight space.

The fact, that you have to spill ALL your personal data for "billing", is a little off-putting...

Did you use your real email address? So the question would be. do they send a download link via email, or do they redirect you after submitting your data.Vortifex wrote: Wed Jun 22, 2022 4:40 pm I put a fake name and address, asking for my home address for a free plugin was crossing the line IMO.
Which they want to use to advertise unrelated products from third parties:

Just checked, giving a fake email address does not work.

You can download a demo version that will show as unregistered without giving up any info.
I just gave them a fake name and address and one of my junk email addresses I use for such occasions.
But yes the data sharing is a bit shady.
Has anyone encountered an issue of the plugin suddenly ceasing to produce sound? It's happened a couple of times in two different DAWs. This is with the registered version.

I have not ^
I never get too concerned about spam calls/emails, I autoblock 500 phone calls a month and have a hella phat spam/promotions folder where spam usually auto-gos.
I want to buy a polyphonic version of this. Is it really a combination of two of their other synths? The tabs look so similar between both of the mentioned synths.
I found this youtube video helpful in persuading me to download:
