Dunno - the verb may be fine, but demo sounds are crap.
I’ll made 1000% better ”wasted reverb” sounds by saturating some of my 32 reverb plugins input signal.

Most Lo Fi reverbs are crap. You're far better off running a high quality reverb into a bit crusher or distortion plugin.

Are there any other similar plugins i.e. Lo-fi reverbs? Audiothing Miniverb comes to mind.

Not sure if it was upgraded but the reverb that came with Surge was pretty grainy, I used the separate Surge Effects version quite a bit for this kind of thing.SHall1000 wrote: Wed Jun 22, 2022 1:44 pm Are there any other similar plugins i.e. Lo-fi reverbs? Audiothing Miniverb comes to mind.

Alesis Midiverb is the undisputed King of lofi Verbs.

Does Wasted Space sound similar to those old Alesis reverbs? The GUI says "Variable Sample Rate Plate Emulation." I'm wondering if this is basically a modified TSAR-1R with sample rate reduction?

Just gave Wasted Space a proper go tonight It's a really thick reverb great if you want a load of in your face reverb on synth pads.

I'm comparing them now and, to be fair, they both sound very different.blortblort wrote: Thu Jun 23, 2022 4:25 amI was thinking the sameftech wrote: Wed Jun 22, 2022 10:46 pm https://www.audiodamage.com/collections ... ack-reverb

Ratshack is much, much more obviously delay based, but still very old school gritty sounding.
Room for both, methinks.
